    Oscar Piastri gets Fernando Alonso, not that the Spaniard would fight that move hard, and is now in third. The undercut on Charles Leclerc didn't shakedown as planned, and now McLaren are planning where Lando Norris will end up in this race.

    Charles Leclerc suffers a slight lock-up on his hard rubber but he recovers well to pass the Aston Martin of Fernando Alonso, who is still out on his medium starting tyres.

    George Russell has overtaken Gabriel Bortoleto for fifth, and Oscar Piastri is just aiting for the first corner to make a jump on Alonso.

    It's an interesting situation because Charles Leclerc has got three seconds on Oscar Piastri and it looks like he's quite comfortable in the Ferrari.

    It looks like Lando Norris has hit a bit of a brick wall behind George Russell, he just can't get close enough.

    The field is fairly static and nobody is really offering anything or making any big moves.

    Alex Albon and Esteban Ocon pit at the same time - and are released at the same time. The two don't come to blows, so nothing really for the stewards to look at. Albon is now on a set of mediums having ditched the softs and is 18th, Ocon is now on the hards in 19th.

    In three or four more laps Charles Leclerc could be in that window ahead of Fernando Alonso and be able to pit and change onto the hard compound tyre if he wanted to do so.

    Leclerc is controlling the field very well and that Ferrari looks quick at the moment.

    Franco Colapinto and Nicop Hulkenberg have already visited the pits today, the Alpine driver making his first stop now to take a set of hard tyres.

    Lando Norris has now dropped out of the DRS range of George Russell, and there's a whisper he's struggling a bit on his medium rubber.

    Lando Norris has clocked the fastest lap, so there's a plus point, but he's still no closer to the Mercedes of George Russell. Charles Leclerc is now three seconds clear of championship leader Oscar Piastri.

    Where are the opportunities for Lando Norris to pass George Russell? They're limited at the Hungaroring, so this could be a long day for the McLaren driver.

    Over at Ferrari, Lewis Hamilton is yet to make a move, his car unable to find a way through on rookie Kimi Antonelli on the hard tyre.

    I wonder if one of those drivers thinking of a one-stop is Fernando Alonso because he's backing up the rest of the field.

    There's basically a massive train between him to Yuki Tsunoda in 19th place.

    Alonso wants points for Aston Martin because they're not in a great position in the constructors' championship, so maybe he's already thinking in that way.

    McLaren tell Lando Norris the obvious: he needs to clear George Russell. The Mercedes took third place at the start of this race and happily ahead of the Briton on the same medium tyre.
