    Tom Daley of England

"Tom Daley has diving aficionados on their feet after scoring his second 100+ point routine in a row. 'That's like the four-minute-mile,' shouts one expert, while another ponders how he is able to enter the water so vertically. 'Perhaps he has lead in his head,' suggests another."

"Well, Tom Daley appears to be over his blip, that 101.75 for his fourth-round routine is the highest score we've seen in any diving competition so far. He just needs to ensure an average score in the 'demon dive' this evening to be in contention for the gold medal."

Over on the BBC Sport Facebook page, external we've been asking whether you think Usain Bolt is the greatest sprinter of all time? And if not, who is?

Tony Brown:, external A couple of years ago, I would've said Carl Lewis is still the greatest of all time, especially with longevity, but after back to back 100m and 200m doubles at Beijing and London, as well as having both world records, I think we can safely say it is Bolt. If he manages a treble at Rio, he will be the greatest track and field star of all time.

Donald Uka Kalu:, external Bolt is both first and second. He broke the record, set his own, and broke it again.

Sy Gri:, external I reckon Michael Johnson stepped off the gas when he broke the 200m world record, whereas Bolt really went for it when he broke Johnson's record. I think if Johnson was about when Bolt was, he would be faster...

Mark Gleghorne, England: "They're the best team in the world and you have to play well to beat them. We didn't do that for long enough. Unfortunately in the first half we didn't really turn up. The second half was better."

Bobby Crutchley, England coach: "We're very disappointed. We thought we could win but we weren't quite there today. We didn't create a lot and they made it quite difficult for us."

Graham Reid, Australia coach: "We expected a very tough game against a very strong opponent, but our boys did really well. Scoring a goal with two minutes on the match it's something we dream about. We always create opportunities for that to make it happen."
