    Cardiff schoolgirl Anna Hursey was knocked out of the women's singles last night.

    But she told me she's found the Games 'really good' and has even found time to do her German homework.

    Even walking out into the opening ceremony didn't faze her - as the crowd were so small she says she just pretended they were teddy bears...

    Wales 13-12 Scotland (Mixed B2/B3 pairs)

    Wales beat Scotland 13-12 in a dramatic sudden-death end to win bronze in the lawn bowls mixed B2/B3 pairs at the Commonwealth Games.

    Skipper Gilbert Miles produced a sensational shot to steal victory in the last end when the teams were tied.

    Scotland had fought back to take the lead in end 14 after trailing Wales from the fourth end.

    Malaysia storm to gold in the women's synchronised 10m platform, adding to their Olympic silver medal. They led from start to finish. They were too good.

    Canada take the silver, while Malaysia's second pair earn the bronze, pipping Australia by less than half a point.

    England's Robyn Birch and Lois Toulson - a relatively new pairing - end on their best dive of the day, but finish down in fifth.
