    Linda Pearson of Scotland won the bronze medal in the women's double trap a little earlier on this morning - and it may be that we never see her win a medal again.

    She said: "Probably at my age, 54, I'm going to retire from Olympic disciplines. So I think this will be it for me. Especially with Birmingham, there is no shooting at Birmingham. This will be it for me."

    After an even first half, Northern Ireland dominated the second and powered into a big lead, finishing the game at a canter.

    Fiji didn't give up, though, producing some magic moments in defence and ensured they recorded their highest goal tally of the tournament.

    Shooter Lisa Bowman attempted an impressive 59 goals finishing with 91% accuracy, in one of many strong performances from the girls in green.

    Away from the action - five Cameroonian athletes have gone missing from their accommodation at the Commonwealth Games in Australia, team officials have confirmed.

    Press attache Simon Molombe told the BBC officials viewed it as "desertion" and that the missing athletes had been reported to Australian police.

    The three weightlifters and two boxers were last seen at different times on Monday and Tuesday, he said.

    • The first was a diving silver for England's Alicia Blagg and Katherine Torrance in the 3m synchronised springboard.
    • The duo are a new partnership and have only had two weeks training together before the Games. They said they were "just winging it".
    • Then, Linda Pearson won bronze for Scotland in the women's double trap.
    • Elsewhere, defending champion and Olympic champion Jack Laugher qualified first for the men's 1m springboard final.
    • Northern Ireland's Kristina O'Hara guaranteed herself at least a silver medal by winning her women's 45kg boxing semi-final.
    • England's Paige Murney won her quarter-final bout in the 60kg category to guarentee at least a bronze medal.
    • Northern Ireland's Stephen Donnelly guaranteed himself a bronze medal with a quarter-final win in the 75kg category.
    • England secured top spot in netball Pool B with their record biggest win over New Zealand.
    • England's defending champion and Olympic bronze medallist Steve Scott failed to qualify for the shooting double trap final.

    You can work up a sweat in the baking heat at the boxing today as they’ve installed a ring and some bags to hammer away at.

    So far the home nations athletes are saving the punches for where it matters.

    Bronze medals guaranteed this morning by England’s Paige Murney, Scotland’s Reece McFadden and Northern Ireland’s Steven Donnelly, while his compatriot Kristina O’Hara won her semi-final at 45-48kg to ensure a silver to come.

    Remember the home nations won 25 medals in 2014. I’ve got them on 16 so far this time but that will change rapidly.

    That medal a little earlier for Scotland - a bronze for Linda Pearson in the women's double trap - was a landmark moment for the nation.

    It is their 29th medal on the Gold Coast which equals their record for an away Games.

    Manx shooter Tim Kneale makes final

    Tim Kneale shot a perfect final round of 30/30 to qualify for the final of the men’s double trap at the Belmont Shooting Club.

    The 35-year-old shooter, who now lives in Glastonbury, qualified third with a score of 135/150.

    Scotland's David McMath and India’s Ashab Mohd both shot 137.

    Shooting - women's double trap

    India's Shreyasi Singh wins gold in the women's double trap after a really dramatic sudden death shoot-off, with Australia's Emma Cox missing one of her first pair of targets to miss out on gold.

    Cox had led going in to the final round, but it's Singh who upgrades the silver medal she won in Glasgow four years ago.

    Both sides made a couple of changes for the second half, Fiji brought on Aliso Galo at centre while young defender Michelle MaGee coming for the Irish and Oonagh McCulloch slotting straight into the game at goal attack.

    The Pearls took a while to get going again and their opponents were in no mood to wait around, cranking up the tempo.

    They found their groove and opened up a healthy 12-goal lead half way through the quarter and haven't looked back.

    Fiji lost Maliana Rusivakula to injury, and she was replaced by her sister Unouna.

    Meanwhile, there'll need to be a shoot-off for the gold medal between Australia's Emma Cox and India's Shreyasi Singh, after Cox missed both of her final targets to leave them tied.
