Heptathlon
KJT gets a decent score on the board first up. 6.20m to start.
There's still a fair way to improve to get close to her personal best of 6.92m.
Athletics
Day two of the heptathlon is go. Unless things go horribly wrong today, Katarina Johnson-Thompson should earn the gold medal in around 10 hours time.
KJT is poised at the top of the long jump run way.

Wales get their first medal of this rhythmic gymnastic championship.
This is turning into a really exciting competition.
That was a deserved medal for Laura.

Halford's improved performance from qualification is enough to secure a brilliant silver medal for Wales.
MEDAL KLAXON!

Get on the wrong side of some of these teenagers and you would count yourself lucky to be on the end of a slammed door rather than a body slam.
The stall giving fans the chance to try out wrestling is doing good business. Youngsters are not pitted against each other, maybe that is for later when the fight purses have been put together, instead taking their frustrations out on life-size foam dummies.
Although I'm not sure that all the moves deployed would pass muster on the mat, with one brutal elbow drop to the face drawing winces and cheers.
Scotland 12-7 Canada - women's pairs
Scotland stop the Canadian momentum with a double in end 10, taking advantage of a loose end by their opponents.
Claire Johnston is interrupted midway through end 11 when an Aussie bloke shouts out from behind her in the stand. Strewth! You don't expect that in the genteel surroundings of the Broadbeach Bowls Club.
Johnston regains focus, but Canada are in control of this end and claw back another point.
Table Tennis
After some stunning rallies England's Liam Pitchford and Paul Drinkhall have won a thriller in the men's table tennis quarter-finals. They have beaten their Singaporean opponents 11-8 in a decider.
That means they progress to the semi-finals where they will face Indian pair Harmeet Desai and Sanil Shankar Shetty.
Fellow English pair David McBeath and Samuel Walker have missed out on a semi-final place however.
Women's 1m springboard
"I could tell that you wanted to, Jump in the pool, jump in the pool!" If that anthem by indie rockers Friendly Fires isn't welcoming the divers into the Optus Aquatic Centre then the DJ needs to have a word with himself.
Anyway... the competitors in the women's 1m springboard are already jumping, or diving rather, into the pool.
It's the preliminary round which sees the 14 divers jostle for a starting position in this afternoon's final. Five dives each, 12 progress.
England’s synchronised silver medallists Alicia Blagg and Katherine Torrance both compete, as does Scotland’s Grace Reid.
Hoop final
These routines really are impressive to watch.
Former Commonwealth Games gold medalist Craig Heap is explaining on commentary that gymnasts must tell a story and music choice is also very important.

Wales' Laura Halford performed to Ave Maria and it was a stunning performance. She qualified in third and has shown immense ability there.
She did a fantastic job of keeping the hoop going from start to finish.
Scotland 10-6 Canada - women's pairs
The high fives have been replaced by hands on hips for Scottish pair Claire Johnston and Lesley Doig. They've stalled as Canada continue to fight back.
Kelly McKerihen and Leanne Chinery score for the fourth end in a row, a double putting them back to 10-6. They were 10-1 down to the Scots remember...
Women's individual hoop, ball and ribbon finals
There's plenty of home nation interest as the rhythmic gymnastics competition reaches its climax at the Coomera Indoor Sports Centre today.
Wales duo Laura Halford and Gemma Frizelle compete in the hoop final from 01:03 BST, while England's Hannah Martin and Halford go for glory in the ball final at 02:23 BST.
Halford will also hope to secure a medal in the ribbon final at 03:04 BST.

Scotland 10-3 Canada - women's pairs
