Zharnel Hughes: "It was a bit challenging to come back after the disappointment of the 200m but the job had to be done. The guys motivated me ahead of the race and they all said they are as hungry as me to win gold."

Richard Kilty: "We are so united at the moment and have been since we came together in 2005. No matter what order we go or who comes in we are a big family. After this Commonwealth gold we are looking to lay down our dominance on the world."

Harry Aikines-Aryeetey: "We have a long season ahead of us. A lot of us will go back to some heavy training ahead of the European championships in August so look out for us then."
