"I still can't get over that catch. It was one of the most exciting moments of the World Cup so far.

"UAE let themselves down with the bat so all they can do is fight hard in the field and make it as tough as they can for India - and that is what they are doing."

  2. Ind 34-1 (target 103)published at 09:28 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February 2015

Guruge has been very economical for the UAE but he veers slightly off line and Kohli capitalises with a beautifully-timed push past mid-on for four. It leaves India needing 69 runs of victory, with 42 overs to get them.

"What a catch that was. It was like Mustafa was asleep and suddenly woke up.

"The ball came like lightning at him and suddenly he was off the ground with his arm outstretched. It was brilliant."

What a catch from Mustafa! He sticks out his right hand and snares the ball at point to snre after Dhawan had rocked back to punch through off. It is a great moment for the UAE, and a good wicket to get to extend this game as Dhawan was just warming up.

"There is a three week waiting list for an Australian visa out of India at the moment. They have huge support. And the fans at the Waca today are certainly enjoying this."

  8. Ind 25-0 (target 103)published at 09:17 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February 2015

Rohit claims the first six of the match as he gets underneath a short ball from Guruge and top-edges it 10 rows back into the stand. The UAE are celebrating next ball, which they think Rohit has nicked to Swapnil Patil. Unfortunately for them, the umpire doesn't agree.

"UAE's 102 is the lowest total made against India in a World Cup game. It was previously 109 by Sri Lanka at Johannesburg in 2003."

  10. Ind 19-0 (Rohit 9, Dhawan 10)published at 09:14 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February 2015

Every positive India stroke is being greeted with a roar of approval from the fans in the ground. Rohit moves to nine with a flick to fine leg before Dhawan punches one past mid-on for his first boundary. He then picks off another Naveed ball, which he drives through cover for four. He is a classy customer and a man in form, coming in to this game off the back of scores of 73 and 137.

  12. Ind 10-0published at 09:10 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February 2015

Guruge may not be rapid but he puts the ball in good areas. He keeps Dhawan at the striker's end for five balls before completing a maiden with the best of the over; a slower ball out of the back of his hand that has the batsman concerned but not beaten.

"India look like a team on fire and the thing I liked about them today was that they chased everything in the field really hard.

"Their fielding has really improved over the last couple of months, but they have been so professional in this match. Even when they were so clearly on top while bowling, they worked hard and didn't want to let it slip."

  14. Ind 10-0 (target 103)published at 09:05 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February 2015

Dhawan (who scored a superb 137 against South Africa in Melbourne) flicks one to backward point for another single before Rohit flashes unsuccessfully at a wide Naveed delivery. The India opener has a tendency to play loose shots away from his body like that. it brings him a boundary later in the over, though, as he top-edges one over the slips for four.

  15. Ind 5-0 (Dhawan 1, Rohit 4)published at 09:01 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February 2015

Fresh from his red inker, Manjula Guruge takes on the familiar task of bowling. His first over is disrupted a couple of times by a pesky security man, who distracts Dhawan by scampering around behind the bowlers arm in his neon vest. After Dhawan gets off the mark with a single, Guruge comes around to push one across and past the straight bat of Rohit.

"It is a very good wicket and the ball is sitting up very nicely. There are a lot of runs to be had and with India in the form they've been in over the last two games, they will be looking to continue that.

"It is critical for the UAE to give themselves a bit of energy by nipping out a couple of wickets, but it is going to be a big ask."

Out come the UAE players, followed soon after by the India openers: Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma. There aren't many runs to get but the latter could do with getting most of them. He's scored 15 and 0 so far in the tournament.

If you're just waking up, you've missed an astonishing game in Auckland between co-hosts New Zealand and Australia.

Trent Boult (5-27) bowled New Zealand into a commanding position as the Aussies slumped from 80-1 to 106-9, and finished on 151 all out.

New Zealand were then cruising at 78-1 before Mitchell Starc (6-28) reduced them to 79-4 and then 146-9 - but Kane Williamson (45 not out) won it for the Kiwis with a six.
