  1. Post-match verdictpublished at 22:06 British Summer Time 5 June 2015

"It was an outstanding performance by Chris Gayle. The crowd turned up to watch him and they got royally entertained by him. It was a fantastic innings.

"We were probably a bit short. They bowled well but we were probably 15 short and we didn't take our chances when the game was in the balance. Gayle's a high-quality player in great form and you cannot give chances to guys like that.

"We had to get wickets early on - we knew that but we couldn't do it and the game got away from us."

"The crowd pumped me up at the end and I was able to finish the game with the six they were calling for. I love the atmosphere at Taunton and I'm looking forward to another home match against Surrey before I leave.

"I'm sorry my time here is so short because things could hardly have gone better. It was good team performance today. We bowled and fielded well."

  11. Post-match verdictpublished at 21:45 British Summer Time 5 June 2015

"I was always backing myself, especially on grounds like this where if you get it it's going to clear the ropes. If he misses his yorker, he has to go out of the park.

"We need more of this sort of cricket and playing in front of big crowds.

"It's great for a 17-year-old lad to be trusted with the penultimate over in a huge game in front of a huge crowd.

"That will give him great confidence and that's what we need this competition to do."

  12. Postpublished at 21:42 British Summer Time 5 June 2015

14 runs from the remaining two overs required for Derbyshire.... Should be well within range but Durham are still running in hard and fielding for all they're worth.

  13. Post-match verdictpublished at 21:41 British Summer Time 5 June 2015

"We were disappointed with our bowling. I didn't change the bowling as much as I could.

"After the first ball of the game that Glenn Maxwell hit for six, I didn't know where to bowl.

"It was vital to get a win and there's no better place to do it than Headingley."

  15. Post-match verdictpublished at 21:36 British Summer Time 5 June 2015

"We didn't get our skills right at the end. We have to go back to the drawing board and be better.

"Matthew Fisher is a young kid, only 17, but with Tim Bresnan and his experience, I thought we had enough bowling at the end to win that game.

"I felt bringing the lads back with the yorkers was the best bet. They should have been able to shut them out with the yorkers."

  16. WICKET Dilshan 54 (c Muchall b Hastings)published at 21:34 British Summer Time 5 June 2015

Hello... Durham couldn't do it from here, could they? Danger man Tillakaratne Dilshan is well caught after top-edging a John Hastings delivery. Calm heads needed from the home side, who should still be able to knock off the runs needed.

  17. WICKET Godleman (st Mustard b Pringle 1)published at 21:28 British Summer Time 5 June 2015

Derbyshire are making this rather harder than it needs to be as Billy Godleman charges down the wicket to hit out but gets it all wrong to give Phil Mustard a straightforward stumping. This shouldn't be close but you never know if Durham can get another couple of quick wickets....

  18. ESSEX BEAT SURREY BY SIX WICKETSpublished at 21:27 British Summer Time 5 June 2015

Fair play to Essex, who coast to victory at The Oval despite the best intentions of Surrey's bowlers and multiple squirrel pitch invasions. Azhar Mahmood strikes a four to seal it, meaning bottom-placed Essex win only their second match in the T20 Blast this summer.

  19. LEICESTERSHIRE BEAT NOTTINGHAMSHIRE BY SIX WICKETSpublished at 21:25 British Summer Time 5 June 2015

A sensational end to the match at Trent Bridge as Umar Akmal uses all his international experience and sends three Luke Fletcher full tosses into the stands for sixes, the second of the three high and over the Fox Road Stand.

The match then ends with seven balls remaining as the Foxes are awarded six penalty runs after Notts would have started their final over past the cut-off time.

Stuart Broad finished with 1-20 from his four overs but Akmal's class shone through at the end.
