I was having a bit of trouble with wides but thankfully that one [fine delivery to bowl Meg Lanning] went right, it was perfect conditions for bowling. We’re going to have to bat well but hopefully we can knock these off. The batters are keen to put it right and hopefully we can end the series on a winning note.

I think it is going to be tough. We find it hard. I don't think the wicket will change much. England will have as tough conditions as we did. There is a lot on the line here. We want to win all three series within the Ashes.

So, after Nelson struck twice for England at the end, they will need to score 112, at a rate of just over five and a half, for a consolation victory.

If you're not aware, Australia have already clinched the Women's Ashes as they hold an unassailable 10-4 lead, with two points available today.

I thought Anya [Shrubsole] opened up really well. I am happy with her bowling. It was a pretty good surface. I needed to nail my yorkers as any length would go. We have had our meetings and reviewed the last game. We know what we need to do now - be positive and try and finish the game off.

    WICKETpublished at 20 overs

Healy c Wyatt b Grundy 19 (Aus 111 all out)

Rene Farrell has to go out for one ball here, and be the non-striker. And it's a case of deja vu as Healy falls in the same manner as Schutt, hoisting the last ball of the innings towards the leg-side boundary and this time Danielle Wyatt takes the catch. Grundy finishes with 2-28.

Schutt doing what she should do. She has kept the runs coming but she didn't get enough power on that. Australia in danger of being bowled. England will want the wicket to give them an in-road psychologically.

  7. wicket

    Schutt c Greenway b Grundy 2 (Aus 111-9)

Time for the long handle - but Schutt perishes when she picks out deep mid-wicket with the penultimate ball of the innings.

Grundy's catching lets her down again as she can't hold a return chance from Healy.

Three balls from Grundy, three singles. Three to go.

The crowd is certainly filling out and Grace Harris’ big hitting has excited the onlooking spectators in Cardiff who are merrily waving their FOUR and SIX placards. Despite the early hour and chilly there are many fans walking around in shorts, perhaps attempting to hold on to summer as long as possible and the ice-cream truck is somewhat surprisingly doing a roaring trade.

  11. Aus 107-8 (Sciver 4-0-15-4)published at 19 overs

The hat-trick ball is forced for a single to square leg by Megan Schutt, Healy goes for a cross-batted blast over the bowler's head which brings her two. One over left - Sciver gets a big round of applause as she takes her cap, having achieved her best T20 international bowling figures.

  12. wicket

    Coyte c Shrubsole b Sciver 0 (Aus 104-8)

Sarah Coyte doesn't last long, lifting her first ball into the hands of Shrubsole at mid-off. Sciver has four wickets and she's on a hat-trick.

She was trying to work it over the top but didn't get enough on it. But I like the intent. She has given Australia something to work with. It is important that Healy keeps the momentum going.

  14. wicket

    Harris c Grundy b Sciver 24 (Aus 104-7)

Short but sweet from Harris as her cameo innings ends. Another unorthodox flip over fine leg is attempted but it's straight to the fielder at short fine leg.

The Australian players are starting to enjoy themselves a bit now. They are sat in the dug-out jigging their shoulders to the music.

  18. Aus 102-6 (Harris 24 from 12 balls)published at 18 overs

Harris lofts a single over the bowler's head, and with the leg-side field back, Healy takes advantage of the gap and clips a well-run two through mid-wicket before smacking two more through the covers. How England could do with a wicket.

Amazing Grace makes Grundy, still wringing her hand, pay for that drop as she steps across to the off side and smashes another six over mid-wicket!
