We’re going to have to bat well but hopefully we can knock these off. The batters are keen to put it right and hopefully we can end the series on a winning note.

    If you're not aware, Australia have already clinched the Women's Ashes as they hold an unassailable 10-4 lead, with two points available today.

  4. I thought Anya [Shrubsole] opened up really well. I am happy with her bowling. It was a pretty good surface. I needed to nail my yorkers as any length would go. We have had our meetings and reviewed the last game. We know what we need to do now - be positive and try and finish the game off.

    The crowd is certainly filling out and Grace Harris’ big hitting has excited the onlooking spectators in Cardiff who are merrily waving their FOUR and SIX placards. Despite the early hour and chilly there are many fans walking around in shorts, perhaps attempting to hold on to summer as long as possible and the ice-cream truck is somewhat surprisingly doing a roaring trade.
