    Shrubsole serves up a full toss, Cameron heaves it down the leg side and it's a chase for skipper Charlotte Edwards down towards the River Taff as they come back for two. But that's the only scoring shot of the over as Shrubsole keeps it tight.

    Villani and Lanning help themselves to a couple of singles, there's a half-hearted appeal for leg before as Villani tries to heave across the line, but Villani recovers to pull a short ball for the first boundary of the day.

    England are in their familiar "solar red" (orange) shirts, although a few are wearing sleeveless slipover jumpers. These appear to be a more genuine shade of red than the shirts... or it may just be the contrast on our TVs.

    Lanning is a good all-round player. But she does like the pace coming on. Her going up a place means that if Brunt and Shrubsole are off the mark she could get away.

    Yep, we're starting early. Captain Meg Lanning takes the first ball, knocking it for a single, bringing her partner Elyse Villani on strike - she plays and misses at her first delivery from Brunt.

    What I think Australia are doing is preparing themselves for the next two series. They face India next and they are trying out some things and looking to make a few tweaks.
