That's it from us - it's only right we leave the last word to the victorious skipper, after all.

If you want to tuck into more cricket, head on over to Stephan Shemilt's match report which contains plenty of stats, analysis and quotes.

But until Friday, it's goodbye from the cricket team at BBC Sport towers. Night.

Pakistan captain Azhar Ali: "It was a comfortable win in the end, but the boys had to work really hard for it.

"The way we bowled and the way the fielders backed them up is really pleasing. The young players are making a difference. They are enjoying their fielding, which makes a difference.

"Babar Azam played very positively, backing himself with some attacking strokes.

"Younus Khan has been a great ambassador, contributing a lot. We'll miss him. A few of the boys were really emotional. He's a great role model and I congratulate him on a wonderful career."

Bring back James Tredwell, our best and most consistent spinner in ODIs since Swann's departure... but quietly stripped of his English duties for no good reason at all!

England captain Eoin Morgan: "We were quite a few runs short. We slipped up at the start and at the end of our innings. We have a lot to learn and to pick up for the next game. We were focused on the batting today, it'd be cruel to criticise the bowlers with only 216 on the board. For the first time in two series, we underperformed."

  6. Man of the matchpublished at 18:39

Man of the match Mohammad Hafeez: "The youngsters are playing very well and I'm really happy with the way Babar Azam played. We were under pressure and he gave me confidence.

"I was taking it one ball at a time and trying to play normal cricket.

"This game means a lot to us because one of our legends is going away from the game."

Woakes and Rashid are picked because they can bat. Utterly pointless when we are 15-3 and cannot bowl sides out. Proper bowlers, please.

The presentation is now under way, including one for 'most colourful innings'. That was given to Babar Azam.

Max Baggins-Craig: All's not lost, it is only a one-day. They have the talent no doubt there, it is putting it to our advantage at the correct time.

"I'd like to see Plunkett brought in, it's been a long tour for him - it's tough for Willey in these conditions. I think the batters like Roy and Hales need to get in the nets tomorrow and feel bat on ball as they were a little undercooked, though the bowlers may need a rest."

John E. Walsh: Well, that was pretty simple for Pakistan! England really need to up their game for the next match!

Ben Goodman: Topley has looked pretty impressive, the other bowlers haven't really shown up.

One man who won't be impressed today is the boss, Andrew Strauss. He told Test Match Special earlier today that "more separation" of the Test and one-day teams will improve England's chances of winning the World Cup.

Top and tail England Test team for SA with Bell-Drummond and Topley. They need left-arm pace.

Topley has only played six County Championship games in the last two seasons combined...

"England are bringing in all these experts like Gary Kirsten and Mahela Jayawardene - but you've got to look at their preparation, just one warm-up game against Hong Kong. England are missing Finn and Wood, clearly it's a strategy not to pick Broad and Anderson, who could easily come back, but there's no pace there. No threat from Willey - I think Plunkett should play, someone who has pace and gets in the batsman's face a little bit."

Jason Roy, if you weren't around earlier, was bowled for a second ball duck. His opening partner Alex Hales (10) played a couple of classy drives but he was out cheaply too.
