  1. Pak 152-4 (target 217)published at 34 overs

Pakistan continue to trot along at just under the required rate of four an over, Hafeez and Babar picking up three singles to leave them needing 64 from 96 balls.

  3. Pak 151-4published at 33.1 overs

Topley gets one to swing in to Hafeez, tucking him up for room as the tall left-armer yells an appeal, but he has to react quickly to avoid possible decapitation when James Taylor's throw from cover nearly takes his head off. It was going down the leg side anyway.

  4. Windies finally win a game in Sri Lankapublished at 17:32

West Indies have beaten Sri Lanka by 23 runs in Colombo for their first win in the final match of their tour, with the Twenty20 series drawn 1-1.

Dwayne Bravo took 4-28 for the tourists, his best T20 international haul, and the Windies have something to smile about after they lost the Test series 2-0 and the ODIs 3-0 (all on Duckworth-Lewis).

"A wicket can transform a match, but you can't really see where it's coming from. A run-out?"

  6. Pak 150-4 (need 68 off 102)published at 33 overs

Wow... how much do Dan Walker and Stuart Broad look like each other?

Joe Root continues to twirl away, bowling round-arm off-spin from round the wicket. I'm not sure how threatening it is. It's tidy though. Just three singles in the over.

  9. Pak 147-4published at 32 overs

So, Babar Azam survives and Pakistan move another two runs closer to victory.

  10. Pak 145-4published at 31.2 overs

This looks good.... Babar Azam appears to be strangled down the leg side. Reece Topley, the bowler, is convinced - as is the keeper, Jos Buttler. Not out says the umpire.

I think it would have been overturned on review. But England wasted their referral earlier. And what a waste it was.

  13. Pak 144-4 (need 74 off 114)published at 31 overs

What would Australia do now? Probably bring on Mitchell Starc to bowl a few stump-seeking yorkers. And two overs later, they'd have wrested back control. In a sign of England's desperation, they turn to Joe Root.

I've nothing against Root's bowling, but he isn't going to hold up a victory canter. Five singles. Easy pickings.

  14. Pak 139-4 (Topley 7-1-20-3)published at 30 overs

England call on Reece Topley, knowing that Pakistan could put the game beyond their reach at any point now. A few big overs and it's curtains. For now though, Pakistan milk the bowling. Three from the over.

Rob Stileman: Mohammad Hafeez is an out and out gun.

  16. Pak 136-4 (Hafeez 72 off 87)published at 29 overs

Mohammad Hafeez is dominating the bowling here, picking up the ones and twos and throwing in the odd boundary for good measure. He's been strong on the pull, scoring 15 runs in that area. Have England bowled too short to him?

"You'd think England wouldn't go back to James Anderson [in ODIs] at his more advanced age, but there's no reason they couldn't pick Stuart Broad again. And would you really not think about playing him in a Champions Trophy in 2017, and a World Cup in 2019, both being played in England?"

  18. 6 runs

    Pak 134-4 (target 217)published at 28 overs

Babar Azam looks a nervous sort, playing a big shot down the ground to Adil Rashid. Just a single though. He put a lot into that for one run.

Mohammad Hafeez is almost foxed by the leggie too, the ball missing his swishing blade and running away for two byes.

The over ends with Azam cracking a straight six. He picked the wrong un' well there. Much better.
