Needing 282 to win, Mitchell Marsh (69 not out) and John "The Duke" Hastings (48 not out) saw the Aussies home with 21 balls to spare, adding 86 in 14 overs.

I have absolutely no idea what it's like in Port Elizabeth, so I just hit the information highway. Apparently, it's home to more indigenous plant species than the entire British Isles and used to be known as the 10-minute city because you can drive anywhere in that time-frame. Apparently, it's now the 15-minute city. Traffic, eh?

Ben Stokes does a goal-like cheer and then appeals when Quinton de Kock misses a straight one, playing across the line, and is hit in front. The finger goes up but the batsman reviews it.

South Africa have stopped Faff-ing about now! Du Plessis hammers David Willey back down the ground for four and then hammers a long hop for six. Quinton de Kock ends the over by smearing four through the off side. Shot!

Ben Stokes is brought into the England attack. On a breezy Port Elizabeth morning, he could get the ball hooping round corners. Looking for that swing, he pitches the ball up and Quinton de Kock drives him back down the ground for four - meeting the ball on the up with a little short-arm jab. Lovely.

Ollie Slack: England might have to lose a game to realise Jordan isn't good enough for ODI, maybe for T20.

There's a small-scale carnival happening inside the ground today: brass band, bouncy castles, dancing. If you're watching or listening, it's hard not to be constantly tapping your foot. The antithesis to listening to a Craig David album. Did I hear Craig's making a musical return? Incredible.

Anyway, South Africa have settled down after that tough start and eek out another five runs.
