  1. Aus 24-0 (Khawaja 21 off 14)published at 3 overs

Al-Amin Hossain has a very army action, but isn't nearly quick enough to test the middle of the deck. Khawaja swats away a pull like Mariah Carey dismissing one of her staff. Batting looking very easy at the moment, with Khawaja slapping through the covers for four.

  2. Aus 14-0 (target 157)published at 2 overs

Spin from the other end, Mahmudullah given the new nut. Khawaja finally rotates the strike to give Watson a bash, with Shane immediately planting that big front pad down the track. There's no James Anderson swinging it around corners here, though, just some gentle offies for Watto to nudge and nurdle.

  3. Aus 9-0 (target 157)published at 1 over

I'd be keen to know what Usman Khawaja has been up to. Quite frankly, any time England fans have seen him he's been rubbish. Since the end of last year, he's been batting like Don Bradman.

  4. 6 runs

    Aus 8-0published at 0.3 overs

Oh, hello! Massive! Usman Khawaja doesn't need long to play himself in, monstering Mashrafe Mortaza over long-on for six. Gayle-esque.

It's very odd to see Australia's openers not include David Warner, but he finds himself at number four. The in-form Usman Khawaja is joined by Shane Watson, who also opened the bowling. He's getting value for money for his £11 match fees.

These intervals drag, don't they? I thought T20 was about speed? Get on with it, fellas.

Australia spinner Adam Zampa after his 3-23: "We thought they would be on for 130-40 but unfortunately they got going. I still think it is gettable though, the wicket is pretty nice. I'm in the game with T20 cricket, there are wickets available in the middle there and that's my job."

  15. Ban 156-5published at 20 overs

Two very good deliveries from Coulter-Nile only concede one at the end of the innings. 156-5 might not be quite enough for Bangladesh, but they've given themselves a sniff if they bowl well. Game on.

  16. Ban 155-5published at 19.4 overs

Two to long-on. 50 partnership in 27 balls. Mahmudullah on 48.

  17. Ban 153-5published at 19.3 overs

Nathan Coulter-Nile back, launched over mid-off for four by by Mahmudullah, who then pumps it over mid-wicket. He's swinging like a rusty gate. I just wonder...

  19. Ban 144-5 (17 off the over)published at 19 overs

Watson's taking some tap here, dropping his blond curtains to the ground like a man ready to erupt with rage. Mushfiqur leans back to guide a very full delivery square for four. Canny shot. Steve Smith has to have a word with his bowler, who wears the look of a man thinking "I used to play in the same team as Warne, McGrath and Gilchrist, I'm not listening to you. Watto then gets hooked for four. 17 off, one to go.

  20. Ban 134-5published at 18.2 overs

Watson, wided for a bouncer that is too high, doesn't even raise his head when he adjusts the field. Just a hand in the air, waving a man in. I wonder what makes him happy. Mahmudullah, cooking, leans back and slices behind square on the off side.
