Anyway, Coulter-Nile, the sort of haircut you get when you join the army, is tight on the off stump of the left-handed Soumya. Touch of extra bounce. Two singles from it. Good over.

It's not raining for Bangladesh, it's monsooning so hard they need an ark. Not only have bowlers Arafat Sunny and Taskin Ahmed been suspended, but gun batsman Tamim Iqbal is ill. Australia continue to overlook Aaron Finch, and bring in John Hastings for Ashton Agar.

It seems to be the set menu in the day-night games for the captain who wins the toss to field first. Steve Smith is no exception here. This Bengaluru ground is quite small, so expect the ropes to be cleared, but the turning pitch could offer a bit for the bowlers.
