New Zealand captain Kane Williamson: "The wicket looks pretty good, a bit of grass but dry underneath.

"It looks a different surface so we have to adapt again. We are unchanged today. We have a bunch of guys playing for a common cause, hopefully we can put a bit of pressure in the second innings."

New Zealand v Pakistan (14:00 GMT)

New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson has won the toss and has decided to bat first.

They are sticking with the same side, so still no Trent Boult or Tim Southee.

Pakistan have made two changes Imad Wasim and Khalid Latif for Riaz (who Shahid Afridi says is rested) and Mohammad Hafeez, who is injured.

But before the Black Caps start plotting their last-four strategy, they have to beat Pakistan - no easy task. Shahid Afridi and his side will be smarting after defeat to India on Saturday and while they are susceptible to mediocrity, they are also more than capable of brilliance. I believe the word is unpredictable.

A win today could send Pakistan above New Zealand.
