  1. Ind 137-6published at 19 overs

We have seen the Helicopter Shot from Afghanistan's Shahzad but Dhoni demonstrates it here, whirling around like a cartoon character and scything Al-Amin over extra cover for four. With the Windmill starting to falter, left-hander Ravindra Jadeja thumps successive fours.

  2. Ind 123-6published at 18 overs

Dhoni has passed 1,000 T20 international runs but he is going to need some more from these last two overs, Mustafizur not offering him anything loose in this one.

    South Africa v Ireland

Ireland's women will have to make their second highest T20 international score of all time if they are to keep their faint semi-final hopes alive. South Africa have finished on 156-5 from their 20 overs thanks to some late-order hitting.

  4. Ind 118-6 (run-rate 6.94)published at 17 overs

Dhoni will be on strike but he has a maximum of 18 deliveries to conjure a challenging total.

  5. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 16.4

    Yuvraj c Al-Amin b Mahmudullah 3 (Ind 117-6)

Mahmudullah introduced to bowl at the big hitting duo and he claims a big wicket, Yuvraj deceived and top-edging to backward square-leg.

  6. Ind 114-5published at 16 overs

Not the most threatening of hat-trick deliveries from the windmill action of Al Amin but he gets in three dot balls to finish and against Dhoni and Yuvraj they are like hen's teeth. It is like Wildlife on One with these avian references.

    Former Australia all-rounder

"What an unbelievable catch. He dives to the left and pulls off an absolute blinder. He has taken a couple of brilliant catches so far in the tournament. This one went very quickly to him."

  8. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 15.2 overs

    Pandya c Sarkar b Al-Amin Ind 112-5)

One of THE great catches. It was dipping, it was heading for the mid-wicket fence but Sarkar swooped like a bird of prey and snared it with a full-length dive, the catch taken with one hand. Hat-trick ball coming up.

  9. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 15.1 overs

    Raina c Shabbir b Al-Amin 30 (Ind 112-4)

Raina hoists but does not get hold of it and is caught in the deep.

  10. Ind 112-3 (run-rate 7.46)published at 15 overs

Pandya punishes Shakib, who had gone within two balls of keeping a boundary off his bowling analysis. But the aggressive India batsman advances to make them into full tosses and smashes them away for successive fours.

  11. 6 runs

    Ind 101-3published at 14 overs

That will get them going again though, new man Hardik Pandya, coming in ahead of the hero MS Dhoni, sending it many rows back over long-on.

  12. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 13.4 overs

    Kohli b Hom 24 (Ind 95-3)

The scoring had increased, Raina had thumped a straight drive for four and Kohli had smeared a six over long-on, but a crescendo of noise is followed by stunned silence as Kohli's timbers are shattered, the middle stump out of the ground.

  13. Ind 84-2 (run-rate 6.46)published at 13 overs

What a valuable asset Shakib is, he still has not conceded a boundary and he is firing them into the blockhole from left-arm round, the batsmen just cannot get under the ball for the big hit.

    Tom Moody
    Former Australia all-rounder

"With wickets in hand, India will be looking for 10 an over. So, another 80 on top of this is a fair target."

  15. Ind 79-2published at 12 overs

Fabulous fielding at backward point from Mohammad Mithun saves a certain boundary and restricts Raina's cut shot off Mortaza to a single. Every little helps but those three runs could prove to be vital. They might not, of course. We shall see.

  16. Women's World Twenty20published at 14:55 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March 2016

    South Africa v Ireland

Ireland have hit back with a couple of wickets, including opener Trisha Chetty (35) - South Africa are 82-3 after 13 overs in Chennai.

  17. 6 runs

    Ind 73-2published at 11 overs

Raina changed his bat between overs and the new one proves far more suited to the task, a casual flick off his pads clearing the ropes and a full-blooded swing next up also going for six.

  18. dropped catch

    Dropped catchpublished at 10.2 overs

    Ind 61-2

Kohli has a swipe, one hand comes off the bat but Al Amin cannot cling on to the return chance and the India star survives on 11.

  19. Ind 59-2 (Kohli 11, Raina 5)published at 10 overs

The crowd noise raises many decibels whenever Kohli hits one but he has not found his range yet, Raina fortunate to loft Mortaza fractionally short of the deep mid-wicket fielder. Four overs without a boundary.

  20. Postpublished at 14:46 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March 2016

    Sanjay Manjrekar
    Former India batsman

"The pressure will creep on. India need to step on the gas but they need to be careful. Raina was very lucky that one of his shots just fell short of the keeper."
