England are likely to go with the same side today, but Sri Lanka have been sweating over the fitness of skipper Angelo Mathews, who limped off halfway through England's dramatic chase at Trent Bridge. However, he has been doing some warm-up work on the outfield and it word is he will be fit to play - but not bowl.

It feels a very strange day to be focusing on cricket, but focus on cricket we must. Yes, here we'll be concentrating on ins and outs of a sporting nature as England take on Sri Lanka in the second of five ODIs. We've had the tie of Trent Bridge, let's hope for some more excitement at Edgbaston.

We were treated to a true rollercoaster ride on Tuesday as England eased up the track to a healthy position, plunged into an abyss, rose again and then lost momentum before soaring in stunning fashion thanks to the brute force of Liam Plunkett.
