"Sri Lanka have let this slip. This tour of theirs is coming to a fairly sad end."
No nerves for the England fans in the Ageas Bowl, who are swaying along to Sweet Caroline. The Sri Lankan fans look glum, though. Looks like they are going to end the tour without a win over England.
Rambukwella returns but Buttler is in the mood to get this done and dusted. He swipes and sends the ball flying high back over the bowlers head for six. A couple of runs from the next ball brings up the 100 partnership.

"If Jos Buttler was batting on tar, he would still find a way."
Absolutely no pressure on England to reach the rope now. They can win this in singles.

"This is Maharoof's first T20 international since October 2008."
The last thing Sri Lanka need is to start chucking in extras. Maharoof bowls way down the leg side for five wides.
Looks like Yorkshire coach Jason Gillespie enjoyed the drop from former club media man (now England press guy) Danny Reuben earlier...
Morgan pulls for two more runs to move to 30 and then gets away with a loose aerial shot on the advance that drops safely short of a charging fielder in the off side. It is not Sri Lanka's night (or tour, for that matter). England are walking this.

"That's just an incredible shot. He's just pushed a perfectly good ball through extra cover for four. He has timed it in a ludicrous fashion all the way on the floor."
Buttler is firmly into his stride now. Mathews returns but the England batsman leans into the first ball and times it to perfection to send the ball flying away through cover for four. Superb.

Robert Bach: Enough of Sri Lanka, can we play a half decent team now to see how good this England team actually is?!

"Bandara is the seventh bowler Sri Lanka have used today. Of those seven, Angelo Mathews is the only one to have taken a T20 wicket in the last two years."
Morgan pulls Bandara for four as England continue to ease towards their target. You sense Sri Lanka's belief is deserting them with every passing over.

"He's just too good. He makes it look so easy."
Eng 93-2
Chaminda Bandara is in to the attack. It doesn't challenge Buttler's momentum as he clubs another four through cover to reach 50. He has barely seems to have got out of second gear as well.

These two are guaranteeing at least six or seven an over without hitting a boundary. When they are able to hit or clear the rope it is a bonus. After the early worries, this is a very calm chase now.

"That was a good Superman effort."

"That would have been a spectacular catch because he leathered that."
Eng 82-2
Another goes down. This was a lot tougher than the Mathews opportunity. Morgan slaps it hard to backward point, where Shanaka dives, gets a hand to it but can't hold on.
