The Sri Lankan fielders are out. Here come the England openers Jason Roy and Jos Buttler. If these two get in, this could be over very quickly. 141 the target. 20 overs to get 'em.

"The thing that really gets a side buzzing is when you get two magical run-outs. There was Roy from the boundary and the Vince direct hit."

  3. Run outspublished at 20:10 British Summer Time 5 July 2016

England's fielding was red hot during Sri Lanka's innings (assisted by some truly shambolic running from the tourists)...

Peter Jones: Is Jordan's 20th over the best ever final over in a T20 international? 2 runs 2 wickets.

  5. 'A long journey'published at 20:10 British Summer Time 5 July 2016

England bowler Tymal Mills on Sky Sports: "It's been a long journey, last year I might have had to pack it in. I just tried to do what I do for Sussex.

"I got told yesterday. I just wanted to get out there, I wasn't too nervous."

  6. Dawson confidentpublished at 20:06 British Summer Time 5 July 2016

England's Liam Dawson on Sri Lanka's total of 140: "I think it's way below par and we should get them."

I think Liam Dawson will be very happy with his England debut (on his home ground no less)...

  9. 'It's what dreams are made of'published at 20:01 British Summer Time 5 July 2016

Liam Dawson, who took 3-27 on England debut, on Sky Sports: "It's amazing, especially here where I've grown up. To make my debut is what dreams are made of - and it's gone very well."

"It's clinical. A lot of different bowlers with their own styles did the job in a different way. Dawson gave the ball air and allowed it to grip. It's a decent surface, not a road, not a 200 surface."

  13. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 20 overs

Pradeep b Jordan 0 (SL 140 all out)

That is a very neat way to round off the innings. Nuwan Pradeep looks to make room to club to the off side but Jordan is too canny and yorks him to take off stump. Jordan finishes with 4-0-29-3. 20 of those runs came off one over!

This is a total that England should chase down.

"He's bowling so well. Jordan got it full enough so that it's difficult to get under the ball and give it the elevation needed to get over the boundary."

  15. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 19.5 overs

    Maharoof c Willey b Jordan 10 (SL 140-9)

Excellent from Jordan again. It is a full ball, which Maharoof can't connect with and sends straight down the throat of sub fielder David Willey at long-on.

  16. SL 140-8published at 19.4 overs

Slightly shorter this time. Just outside off. Maharoof swings and misses. No run.

  17. SL 140-8published at 19.3 overs

Jordan prevents a run by fielding from his own ball. Jordan really does know what he's doing at the death. That was full and steered into the legs.

"This is only the third time Jordan has bowled the 20th over. He's bowled the 19th 12 times."

  19. SL 140-8published at 19.2 overs

A swing and a miss from Bandara, who is called through for a bye. Good call.
