  1. Eng 150-0 (Winfield 71, Beaumont 70)published at 26 overs

Thanks, Jamie - and well done on 25 overs without losing a wicket. I'm fully aware I'll be held responsible if the England wheels come off now.

Captain Sana Mir builds a bit of pressure with three dot balls, drawing a false shot from Tammy Beaumont who nearly chops onto her stumps... but manages to run a two. The 150 stand earns the England pair a blast of "I Love Rock & Roll" over the New Road PA.

Watch: Winfield hits Nida Dar for sixpublished at 12:07 British Summer Time 22 June 2016

Another six for England as Lauren Winfield joins in the fun.

  3. Eng 147-0 (Winfield 71, Beaumont 67)published at 25 overs

Beaumont collects her seventh four from the opening delivery of Asmavia's over and a single takes her to within three of her highest ODI score...set all of one day ago. How many are she and England going to amass here? After the players have drinks, Mark Mitchener will be here to tell you.

"Winfield may just have a badge of honour on her shoulder blade. Tammy Beaumont didn't look that bothered. She was probably more bothered it didn't go for four!"

  5. Eng 142-0 (run-rate 5.91)published at 24 overs

The most danger Winfield has faced thus far, being clouted under the armpit by a Beaumont straight drive. A few rubs and stretches and she is OK to continue. Inadvertently saved a certain boundary.

"The thing that's stuck out about this opening stand is that they got themselves in and then accelerated from six and seven overs on. They hit the bad balls, they've been powerful down the ground, it's been a wonderful partnership so far and they'll look to extend that. If I was there I'd be thinking 'fill my boots'."

  7. Eng 140-0 (Winfield 70, Beaumont 61)published at 23 overs

Opening bowler Asmavia back in the attack, helmeted wicketkeeper Sidra Nawaz up to the stumps. A deft tickle off the pads brings Winfield another four.

  9. Eng 132-0 (run-rate 6.00)published at 22 overs

The widest wide thus far from Yousuf, it barely pitches on the cut strip. There are no boundaries in this one though. Laura Marsh and Katherine Brunt wander off to the nets. Katherine cannot be optimistic about a bat today, she's down to come in at number eight.

"I'd say it's not been Pakistan's best day in the field. I don't think they fielded particularly well yesterday either. They need to improve on that."

  11. Eng 128-0 (Winfield 63, Beaumont 57)published at 21 overs

We'll have another one to show you shortly. Winfield marches down the wicket and thumps Dar back down the ground, just over the ropes.

Watch: Beaumont's second sixpublished at 11:48 British Summer Time 22 June 2016

Here's Tammy Beaumont's second six of the day. She'd never cleared the ropes in ODIs before today.

  13. Eng 115-0 (Winfield 52, Beaumont 55)published at 20 overs

The dominant duo rotate the singles off Yousuf and they have the record against Pakistan. Some way to go to beat the record opening partnership against any nation, that is a small matter of 268 against South Africa.

"What a start, I've loved watching it! Lauren's come in under pressure. She's played fantastically well."

    Eng 112-0

Winfield revives the boundary count as Dar drops short, she reaches fifty and the pair equal the record opening partnership against Pakistan.

"Lauren Winfield has batted brilliantly today. She was under a bit of pressure after yesterday. She was very careful in defending her first ball, and after that she's looked brilliant."

  17. Eng 104-0 (Winfield 45, Beaumont 51)published at 18 overs

A third consecutive over without a boundary as Yousuf keeps things relatively tight, although with the score over 100 for no loss that is very relative.

"Nida Dar's been one of their most consistent bowlers. She bowled in the Twenty20 World Cup as well. I faced her a little bit. She gets good momentum to the crease and is quite consistent as well. That's what Pakistan need now, consistency. But the way these two have batted it's proving difficult."

  19. Eng 101 (Winfield 43, Beaumont 50)published at 17 overs

The spinners are doing a good job for the over-rate, although fetching the ball from the boundary takes up the time. There are none in this Dar over, however, the bespectacled spinner alert with her fielding off her own bowling, just the single scored from the over.

"That's brilliant. Tammy's a player who has been striving to put in these sort of performances. Once you unlock it and get the recipe you can do it again and again. Hopefully Lauren can start doing that as well."
