  1. Eng 329-3published at 47 overs

So, England are well past their highest ODI score on home turf, and it's already their second highest score of all time. Only a 376-2 against Pakistan in VIjayawada in 1997 - thanks to centuries by Jan Brittin and Barbara Daniels - is higher.

"It doesn't matter that the pace is off the ball. they're throwing everything at it. Natalie just launches into the shot. It's great to watch. This is an excellent half-century from Natalie. She's come out and made this an electric finish."

Another powerful sweep brings Sciver her half-century. It is greeted, as with all other milestones today, with a burst of Katy Perry's "Roar" over the PA.

England have roared today. And then some.

  4. 6 runs

    Eng 324-3published at 46.3 overs

Knight sweeps seamer Asmavia for four, but she'll be just as happy with the single which gets Sciver back on strike... and the Surrey all-rounder clubs another straight six. She has 49 from 21 balls.

  6. Eng 313-3 (Sciver 43 from 20 balls)published at 46 overs

More merciless hitting from Sciver, who is suddenly on the verge of a half century in no time at all, thanks to another four. 21 runs from the over.

"The ball was in the air for a long time. That was a horrific effort from the fielder. She must have been wishing it was given a six."

  8. 6 runs

Heather Knight takes the aerial route, whacking Nida Dar over her head... four or six? It's a one-bounce four, which means it really should have been cut off by the patrolling fielder. Fair to say, Pakistan may be forced into a remedial fielding session tomorrow - they've been pretty poor all day.

Nat Sciver is taking no prisoners here, lifting some buffet bowling for a four and another six over mid-wicket. 350 looking easily within range here.

"We saw the good shots from Winfield and Beaumont were straight and a lot of them were over the top. It was brilliant to watch, especially if the bowling's not as good as you're used to, you would."

  10. Eng 292-3 (Sciver 27 from 16 balls)published at 45 overs

Pakistan are still going to have to find a couple of overs from what we might describe as their lesser bowlers today - but for now they turn back to opening bowler Asmavia from the New Road End, where she'll probably bowl overs 45, 47 and 49. Knight threads a couple through the covers, while Sciver gets down on one knee to loft a drive down to long-off. 10 from the over. Five to go.

"I think Heather here will come in and just knock the ball about and give the strike to Nat Sciver."

  12. Eng 282-3 (Sciver 22, Knight 2)published at 44 overs

Skipper Heather Knight into the action, fresh from her heroics yesterday. With a five-for and an unbeaten 50 under her belt, if a well-known lager did captaincy debuts... A couple of singles round off the over. Yousuf finishes with 1-51 from her 10.

Sadia Yousuf, Pakistan's most economical bowler today, strikes in her last over as Elwiss, looking to force the pace, is caught smartly at cover.

  16. Eng 277-2 (Tariq 10-0-63-2)published at 43 overs

Tariq will be the first Pakistan bowler to complete her spell - and first up, she serves up a pie of a full toss which Elwiss lashes through backward point for four. An interesting cricketer, Elwiss - having started her England career as a bowling all-rounder, nowadays she's more of a front-line batter who doesn't always turn her arm over. Sciver shovels another four backward of square - is Lydia's prediction of 350 on?

"Danielle Wyatt coming in next, it wouldn't surprise me. She played some really good innings at the World T20. She's quick between the wickets. The areas that Danielle offers, it's a bit more of a 360-degree game. She's got all the shots in the book. She's warming up, but they've also got people like Katherine Brunt who are more than capable of clearing the ropes."

  18. 6 runs

    Eng 265-2 (Sciver 14, Elwiss 11)published at 42 overs

Sana Mir tosses one up - and Natalie Sciver slog-sweeps it over mid-wicket in the direction of Worcester Cathedral for the fifth six of the innings. It's her first maximum in ODIs - she's previously hit a couple in T20 internationals. Another ferocious club through mid-wicket brings her four more - she has 14 from eight balls.

And as if to worry Pakistan up even more, Danielle Wyatt is practising some big hits in front of the England dug-outs. England most definitely have power to add here.

With the powerplay restrictions over, Pakistan can put another fielder back outside the circle*. Tariq bustles in for her ninth over, five singles and a wide are added to the score.

*(If you didn't hear on TMS earlier, these women's ODIs are still being played under "old" ODI regulations, as the ICC Women's Championship was already under way when the regs changed).
