Benjamin Dito Smith: Can we get a move on please before I catch my flight to Edinburgh?!

  2. Pak 208-8published at 17:18 British Summer Time 25 July 2016

There are four close catchers and the wicketkeeper keeping the batsman company while Moeen twirls away. They're not budging for now though and Joe Root is summoned.

At least Pakistan's tailenders are showing a hint of fight - Mohammad Amir clattering Chris Woakes through point for four twice in succession. Amir's highest score in professional cricket is 73 not out, so he's no mug.

It's interesting that Moeen now has 16 wickets against Pakistan to go with his 19 against India. They are the two countries you would expect to play him best. Evidently not.

    This match is coasting now.

England need 2 wickets to win

Chris Woakes deceives Wahab with the wide yorker which Misbah dragged on. That delivery is going to take some wickets in the next few years.

So Moeen joins Jimmy in the race for a five-for.

    Who's your money on?

It wasn't a great shot - it wasn't short enough. Maybe it kept a bit low and he's right in front.

    Ramiz Raja
Former Pakistan captain on BBC Test Match Special

It's a soft dismissal - not a menacing ball at all. He went back and tried to hit it a little too hard.

Yasir lbw Moeen 10 (Pak 190-8)

Spinners like to get other spinners out.

So you can imagine Moeen is pretty chuffed to pin Yasir plumb in front when his opposite number fails to connect with his shot.

The umpire's finger goes up. Even Shane Watson wouldn't have reviewed that.

Michael: Constant chirping and moaning over the follow-on seems silly now. Cook will have a wry smile speaking to the media later.

Doug Woodcock: Did Michael Clarke ever face this level of criticism for never, ever, enforcing a follow-on?

Kevin Ticehurst: The following on debate. The door has firmly been shut. Great decision by Cook and Bayliss!

  14. Pak 190-7published at 16:59 British Summer Time 25 July 2016

England need 3 wickets to win

If England wanted to practise their throw-downs, they've got the right pair at the crease. It's tip-and-run stuff at the moment. England are going to bring on Moeen.

    Vic Marks
Ex-England spinner on BBC Test Match Special

It's almost like they're in a run chase - they're taking some very risky singles.

  16. Pak 187-7published at 16:56 British Summer Time 25 July 2016

Jimmy must want his tea? He's getting a bit annoyed that Pakistan are not for budging.

When Yasir plays an extravagant forward defensive, Anderson fields the ball and cheekily throws it behind his back to try and run out Wahab who was backing up.

    Japes.

If he'd hit Wahab would have been run out by a country mile. It's very entertaining stuff.

    Target 565

Do Wahab and Yasir think they can knock these off tonight? They are swinging the bat wildly and running recklessly between the wickets - Stuart Broad almost throwing the stumps down at the non-striker's end following one such rush of blood.

  20. Pak 184-7published at 16:48 British Summer Time 25 July 2016

Yasir pushes into the off side, the ball bisecting two fielders - one of them being the substitute fielder. The 12th man is most probably a Lancashire youngster and he decides to outsprint Chris Woakes to the ball, dive and throw the ball in at pace.

Keen. That's like the work experience kid racing the next person to brew up in the office tea round to the kettle.
