When the local plumber has too many drinks...
England need 3 wickets to win
Yasir ducks beneath a Chris Woakes bouncer, and the bowler jokes with the mid-on fielder. He gestures that he's about to reel the batsman in. Not yet he's not. Keep laying that ground bait though.

Keep him playing like this, I say.
Target 565
Wahab tries to hit James Anderson out of Lancashire, but fails to connect and offers up a wry, almost apologetic, smile to his fast bowling rival.
Wahab strikes me as somebody you can have a laugh with on the field. When he's not bowling at you.
When he does finally get hold of Anderson, the ball runs for four down to third man. The bowler isn't too happy and starts chuntering.
Yasir, meanwhile, continues to survive by the skin of his teeth when he edges a looping catch over the slip cordon.

I finish work in half an hour and I'd like to listen to the match on the way home.

England need 3 wickets to win
Yasir leans into a Chris Woakes outswinger and scampers a couple of get off the mark. He runs like a kids' wind-up toy. Lots of momentum, but that slowly dissipates.

Jed Spink: Fair play to Pakistan. They've got the margin of defeat to under 400 runs.

BBC Test Match Special
That would have been out with a direct hit.
Yasir escapes by the splinter of his bat. He's not the quickest between the wickets, and seems averse to grounding his bat. Never a good combination.
Pak 168-7
Now we have a review for a run-out as Wahab and Yasir take on Chris Woakes' arm. It's not a direct hit so that may have saved him.

Paul Wragg: So why were people moaning at Cook's decision? Looks great to me!

Ex-England spinner on BBC Test Match Special
That will go down as an umpiring mistake, but it's not a critical one because the review system rectified it. There's a rare smile on Jimmy Anderson's face.
Shafiq lbw Anderson 39 (Pak 167-7)
He didn't hit it, Vic. And you're right, he's out - it was hitting the stumps flush.
Anderson celebrates this wicket a little more than some previous ones. He's got Pakistan's best batsman with a double-bluff.

Ex-England spinner on BBC Test Match Special
It's out if he didn't hit this.

BBC Test Match Special
I don't think he has hit it.
Pak 167-6
England call for a review after an lbw shout against Asad Shafiq is turned down. A good inducker from James Anderson, moments after an outswinger had been caressed to the boundary.
In terms of runs
Now might be a good time to chuck this stat out there...
Sarfraz c Bairstow b Woakes 7 (Pak 163-6)
Six down, four to go.
Pakistan could fold quickly here. The third umpire spots a mark on the batsman's glove. Sarfraz is out, caught behind. Another wicket for Woakes.
Into the tail now.
Pak 163-5
Sarfraz chases one down leg, moments after tea. Has he tickled it behind to the keeper?
The umpire thinks so and the finger goes up.
Sarfraz reviews it. He thinks it's hit his jumper.
