I can confirm Jonathan Agnew is frantically checking the score on his smart phone while sat at breakfast in Rio. He's here of course to commentate for 5 live with sports such as equestrian on his list.
Aggers debated the banana dish which had a few people scratching heads. He didn't dive in though.
Do you live abroad? Are you on your holidays? Maybe you're exercising on a beach in Rio... Either way, you can listen to Test Match Special by clicking here., external

Thomas DJH Stirk: The good news is Pakistan are always one wicket away from a complete collapse. England shouldn't panic yet.
Ed Mehen: Get Root on.
John Warrington: Poor bowling by England this. Way too short.

You've got to get the ball up more. Bobby Charlton told me he was taught by Jimmy Murphy, who said that if you see the goal you shoot.
If Aslam has been watchful, only playing the ball when absolutely necessary, then Azhar Ali has been slightly more aggressive in an unbroken partnership of 72. England will probably think that they have bowled too short.
But if that sent a tremor through the Pakistan dressing room, the foundations for this reply have been laid by Sami Aslam, a 20-year-old opener playing only his third Test and first first-class match this year.

Indeed Pakistan were 0-1 after only four balls of the day, Mohammad Hafeez presenting a gift to James Anderson.
Don't forget that TMS will be marking the 80th birthday of the great Sir Garfield Sobers during the lunch break. I'll be showing you some highlights from the morning session.

They've had one bad shot by Pakistan, from Hafeez, which was a non-shot. After that these two have played splendidly. Aslam has really played stoutly. He's defended well, got close to his body, and he's thoroughly deserved this. Ali's played positively. England will have to work for the wickets a bit harder.
That's the lunch interval, the end of what has been Pakistan's morning. It didn't look that way when Mohammad Hafeez fell in the very first over, but Sami Aslam and Azhar Ali have been patience personified. The England attack has been blunted and the home side need to regroup during the break.

Trevor Francis is in the house, watching as Moeen twirls his beard towards Azhar, almost drawing a return catch from a leading edge. Not real turn, Moeen firing it in, possibly a little too quickly. One to go before the break. England need it.

Woakes switches ends and produces the first really threatening delivery in living memory, zipping one past the outside edge of a driving Azhar. The hum at Edgbaston is audible for the first time in a while, the crowd alive either to the greater prospect of a wicket or the impending lunch break. Maybe two overs to go.

Aslam 23, Azhar 33
Apologies to England, because Moeen won't merely get one over before lunch. He might get two. He's back on the field and into the attack, dropping a touch too short for Azhar to force off the back foot. A diving Stuart Broad can't prevent the boundary then, for the rest of the over, holds his side. Worrying for England. Watch this space.
