Pakistan spin bowling coach Mushtaq Ahmed on TMS: "We've got to play positive. The mindset is key. If we set a good platform and can assess the conditions later on, we can see what we need to do.

"It's great from the spectator point of view - nobody is sure what's going on. If we come out with a result here, it's great for Pakistan cricket."

It's a belting day in Brumingham, sunshine and blue sky. Admission is £16 for adults and £5 for under-16s. If you're in the area, get yourself down there. I guarantee you'll get value for money. If you don't, have a word with Alex Hales. He'll give you some cash back.

Stoney: Why haven't we declared? Why, why, why, why, why?

Ben Sutton: Watching the cricket all day and then off to Greece this evening. Hoping the boys will have me in a good mood for the flight!

I hope everyone rallies round Moeen and he's got a bit of confidence because he can win the game for England today.

Pakistan are going to have to bat very, very well. They will be in for a fight today. Hafeez is out of form. Aslam played well in the first innings but he's only a youngster so it will be a big day for him. Azhar found form but Younus is jumping all over the place. Sarfraz is a strokeplayer, so it will probably come down to Misbah again.

If you bowl consistently well on this pitch, there will be enough out there to create chances. If England catch well I think they're going to win.

...leaving us where we are now.

England 414-5, leading by 311. Bairstow has 82, Moeen 60.

We've already had word that England will bat on, so expect a tickle of the gas this morning.

After that, a declaration, and then the big push.

That we're here is largely thanks to the efforts of Jonny Bairstow and Moeen Ali last evening.

When they came together, the game was balancing like an egg on a spoon.

    Then this happened...

Yep, it's that rarest of rare things, a fifth day of a Test in England.

Not only that, but it could be a humdinger. At some point today England will begin the quest for the 10 Pakistan wickets that would give them a 2-1 lead in this series.

If you can, get out of that trip to the in-laws, don't bother going to the garden centre.

Find a comfy spot - it might be on the settee, in the garden or (if you're lucky) by the pool and enjoy.

    Ah, Sunday.

Have a lie in, shake of that fuzzy head (we've all got one).

Read a newspaper weighty enough to kill a man, eat roast beef and Yorkshire puddings.

Maybe have a stroll, maybe have a pint in your local, perhaps later you'll collapse into a chair and watch the Antiques Roadshow.

You might even win a Test match...
