17:54 BST 1 September 2016Hasan was the final wicket to fall for Pakistan, who batted out their 50 overs with Umar Gul and Imad Wasim the not out batsmen.
Over to you England!

17:54 BST 1 September 2016My personal choice aside, Imad's personal highlight may end up being this huge six off David Willey. The left-hander got to only his third half-century and partnered Hasan Ali for 56 valuable runs for the eighth wicket.

17:52 BST 1 September 2016Then came the Imad show. The Swansea-born left-hander showed very little fear. And for me, the best shot of the match was this scoop off Plunkett to fine leg. He finished unbeaten on 57.

17:49 BST 1 September 2016Pakistan really could have done with some big stands in the middle overs, but they never materialised. This Nawaz stumping kind of summing up their attempts to take on England's bowlers. Moeen got his second wicket to round up a good performance from England's spinners.

17:46 BST 1 September 2016All good things must come to an end, and so it did for Azhar who couldn't quite connect with a Rashid delivery. This came after Rashid also removed Rizwan. The Yorkshire spinner had an amazing day with the ball, finishing with 3-47 from his 10 overs.

17:45 BST 1 September 2016Plunkett had said a few days ago England were still searching for the "perfect fielding performance". No better person to take the lead then? The Yorkshireman produced another superb diving effort to match his Lord's catch, as Sarfraz was sent back to leave Pakistan on 136-4. Looking at Plunkett's reaction, you'd think he does them for fun.

17:41 BST 1 September 2016Azhar Ali, not known as a big "smiter of sixes", showed how Pakistan could profit from a pitch that didn't really do much. He whacked a couple of maximums en route to his half-century.

17:36 BST 1 September 2016It was never going to match the record-breaking display from Trent Bridge. But there was potential for good hitting. Pakistan tried.... and failed. Sami Aslam falling to an attempted flick-slog before Liam Plunkett's catch ended an important stand of 49 between Babar and Azhar.

17:32 BST 1 September 2016I said earlier England quietly went about their business, this catch by Ben Stokes got many talking. An excellent effort to get rid of Sharjeel. Pakistan were in danger of being typically stuttered in their batting.

BBC Test Match SpecialIt's been a slow, cumbersome innings until Imad Wasim came out and struck some lusty blows. It seems again 50 or 60 runs too light.

Ex-England spinner on BBC Test Match SpecialThe confidence of the Pakistan bowlers will be low, but they can win. There is spin out there - and 248 is still a big chase.

17:29 BST 1 September 2016Well, I wouldn't say let's sit back, catch our breath, grab a pink-coloured drink and put our feet on the dining table. It's not been that sort of innings. Instead, England quietly dominated most of the play before Pakistan entertained towards the end. Azhar Ali, in all honesty, should have hung around for a century, but feel free to take some bowler-shaped hats off to Imad Wasim, who gave all in green so much to cheer.

Ex-England spinner on BBC Test Match SpecialThis was an old-fashioned style of innings, but old-fashioned by two or three years - I'm not talking 20 years. Just 18-24 months ago, this would have been considered a competitive total.
Pak 247-8published at 50 overs
50 oversEnds with a whimper as Gul can't connect with Plunkett's final ball. Still, not a bad over to finish off. And Imad rightly raises his bat to a big ovation at the end as both he and Gul walk off.
Pak 247-8published at 49.5 overs
49.5 oversWalllopppppppp! Umar Gul, talk about getting off the mark. Casually swings forward and it's a massive six into the sightscreen.
Final ball coming.
Pak 240-8published at 49.3
49.3Brilliant entertainment, as Imad reverse flicks Plunkett and the ball lazily flies over Moeen and Root standing around short-fine leg. Hilarious! He tries it again off the third ball but misses.
Pak 236-8published at 49 overs
49 oversRight, in we go to the final over. Pakistan have got themselves to a half-healthy score. Chris Jordan finishes with nine overs and two wickets. Liam Plunkett to finish things off for us.
