So, R&R (rest and rotation) is the order of the day for England. Moeen Ali, Adil Rashid and Liam Plunkett have a rest. With the conditions suiting a seam-heavy attack, England have five pace options.

England skipper Eoin Morgan: "I probably would have looked to bowl first if I'd had the choice but it's not a bad day and the wicket looks pretty good.

"We haven't played with just one spinner for a long time and it's good preparation for the Champions Trophy.

"Jos Buttler is still unfit. He still hasn't pulled up that well but hopefully he'll be fit for the T20 game on Wednesday."

Pakistan captain Azhar Ali: "It looks a good wicket to bowl on, the conditions suit it, we trained all day yesterday and the pitch was under covers. Mohammad Irfan is injured so Mohammad Amir comes in, while Shoaib Malik is fit and he replaces Sami Aslam.

"It's frustrating as Irfan came in fresh and couldn't finish his spell. It's been a hard series for us, but we want to finish on a high as we struggle in ODIs over here."
