Sun cricket correspondent John Etheridge on TMS: "People talk about how the players can play with freedom. The previous regime under Peter Moores will say they encouraged that too, but they believe it now, and there's a huge amount of power in the side. As it stands, England will be one of the favourites for the Champions Trophy here next summer."

Majestic stroke from Chris Jordan, opens his stance and lofts it imperiously over long-off. Would love to have known the apex of that one. The Sussex all-rounder ensures England of 300 with a pull into the leg side for two, the crowd appreciating the significance of the landmark. That 100 took 98 balls, the same number as the first 100.

Only a smattering of singles from England as Amir finishes his allocation with 3-50. Only Mark Wood to come though so, for once, England are not blessed with options.

Pakistan have just kept things in check there. You feel the momentum is with them at the moment. They will be desperate to keep the chase below 300.

    Hasan 3-53 from 9

A pull shot from Willey off Hasan bounces around 10 yards in front of Babar on the square-leg boundary and brings him just a single. Can England pull some magic out of the hat in the last four overs? Can they survive them?

This is the third wicket that Amir has got today when things have all gone to plan. Hales, Roy and now Dawson. This is Pakistan's best opportunity. England may have made a mistake in only playing one spinner.
