Alex Hales made England's highest ODI score with 171 from 122 balls in the world record 444-3 in the third match of the series. He hit five fours today but here he is departing off the bowling of Mohammad Amir for 23 from 15 balls.

Stokes departed in the 42nd over, one of four wickets for the persistent Pakistan seamer Hasan Ali.

Ben Stokes made an uncharacteristically cautious start, with only 12 singles from his first 32 balls, but he went on to make a commanding 75 from 76 balls and here is one of his three sixes.

Jason Roy gave England a useful start with 87 from 89 balls, here is one of the two sixes the big-hitting opener struck, plus his dismissal as he finds the boundary fielder off the bowling of Mohammad Amir. 

So Pakistan's highest score of the series thus far is the 275 with which they replied to England's world record 444 at Trent Bridge. We will see how they fare under the floodlights in around half an hour. Majestic stroke from Chris Jordan, opens his stance and lofts it imperiously over long-off. Would love to have known the apex of that one. The Sussex all-rounder ensures England of 300 with a pull into the leg side for two, the crowd appreciating the significance of the landmark. That 100 took 98 balls, the same number as the first 100.

No slip for the number 11 and Wood collects a boundary with a thick edge. Hasan the first Pakistan fast bowler to take four wickets against England in an ODI since Umar Gul in September 2010.

Just two singles from the Gul over. Since Stokes was out in the 42nd over only 24 have been scored.

Only a smattering of singles from England as Amir finishes his allocation with 3-50. Only Mark Wood to come though so, for once, England are not blessed with options.
