As Gary said in that last entry, there will be a delayed start to proceedings, but there's no word yet as to when we can expect Nottinghamshire and Northamptonshire to take the field.

The forecast makes grim reading for those hoping to watch a full slate of games, with rain predicted to stick around until the evening.

If any of the fixtures can't be completed today, the teams will be back again tomorrow to try again.
