    Middlesex 270 & 22-2 v Yorkshire 390

Nick Gubbins has been the only Middlesex batsman to show any real resistance in this match, and the 22-year-old is showing plenty of guts once again.

He clips Tim Bresnan to the square-leg boundary for his second four. Middlesex look a little more comfortable than 20 minutes ago.

Hampshire, who need to win unless Lancashire chase down an unlikely 347 at Edgbaston, only lead by 158.

And Lancashire have just lost a wicket. Rob Jones goes lbw to Keith Barker and the visitors are 4-1.

Notts still trail by too many to matter though.

It's been an extraordinary, hearts in the mouths sort of day at Lord's - but we wouldn't have wanted it any other way.
