So, the final ended sooner than we might have expected, but Warwickshire are the One-Day Cup winners for 2016. Congratulations to Ian Bell and his team, and all the staff at Edgbaston.

Man of the Match Jonathan Trott told 5live Sports Extra: "You don't play professional cricket as a hobby. You always want to be part of games like this and win them.

"It was a matter of just getting used to the pace of the pitch, sometimes the ball did a little bit more than you would expect on a normal Lord's wicket. 

"We said we would just play normally, like we are chasing 230/240, and have that mind-set and it's always important when chasing those totals to be positive." 

Surrey captain Gareth Batty told Sky Sports: "We've not really turned up for a game of cricket. To lose in this manner is a little bit embarrassing. 

"136 wasn't enough, that's for all of us to take on the chin together. We got it wrong, fundamentally if you get it wrong you don't get a second chance. 

"It was nothing to do with the surface, we didn't get it right."

Warwickshire captain Ian Bell on 5live sports extra: "Losing the toss wasn't actually a bad thing. I can't compliment the bowlers enough, I thought they were outstanding through this competition, but to get to the final and produce the goods is brilliant.

"Trotty was outstanding with the bat as well. If I could choose one person to knock off a total like that, it would be Jonathan Trott."

No sooner have I typed the words 'Warwickshire not in any hurry' than Jonathan Trott pulls the opening ball of Sam Curran's new over away for four, then drives the next one through the covers to end the match. 

The Bears win with 118 balls to spare; Trott finishes on 82 not out - with a One-Day Cup average for 2016 of 85.83 - and Tim Ambrose on 22.

Truth be told, it's been a one-sided affair, but that shouldn't detract from Warwickshire's ninth win in a limited-overs final at the home of cricket.

Jonathan Trott takes a single and Tim Ambrose adds two as Gareth Batty can only half-stop an on-drive. Warwickshire not in any hurry here.

Sam Curran starts a new over with a leg-side wide. Warwickshire don't need freebies at this stage.

Jonathan Trott pulls a short ball away for a couple and then adds an easy single to mid-wicket.

Curran finds the leading edge of Tim Ambrose's bat as he shapes to play to leg, but it's only a moral victory - and that's the only type of victory left for Surrey now - 11 needed off 21 overs. 

Dot-single-dot-dot then Jonathan Trott sweetly times a boundary down the ground, before snatching a single to move on to 70 not out. He has also passed 500 runs in the competition this season. 

Jade Dernbach tries his luck from the Pavilion End - but I doubt whether any bowler in the history of cricket could conjure up a Surrey victory from this position. It's a trick that would even be beyond Dynamo. Four runs off the over - 22 required.

Zafar Ansari returns after one over by Jade Dernbach from the Nursery End. Three singles. Warwickshire need 26 off 144 balls.

Warwickshire's total reaches three figures as Jonathan Trott helps a wide delivery down towards the third man boundary where a diving Sam Curran cannot prevent four runs. Trott mis-cues a pull from another short one, but the ball flops to earth between the inner and outer field.

It's now a case of when and not if and Tim Ambrose hurries things along with a drive backward of square for four. Apart from the first few overs of the match, this has been like a horrible dream for Surrey - and it's too late now for an alarm call.

Here's Jade Dernbach again and he is immediately cut away for two runs by Tim Ambrose. A similar shot by Jonathan Trott brings him a single to end the over.

"After previous scores of 65 not out, 54, 107 and 81, that's the first time Ian Bell has not hit a half century for Warwickshire in a Lord's one-day final.

"On a personal note, there's great sadness, as it's cost me a couple of quid, having had him down for Top Bat.

"But I'm pretty sure it won't affect the final outcome."

New batsman Tim Ambrose tries to dab his first delivery towards third man but is late on the shot and the ball is past him and through to the keeper. Stuart Meaker has something approximating to his dander up now and is looking for a second breakthrough.

There's a fine save at backward point from the final delivery, but the shy at the stumps misses and runs away for four overthrows. It really isn't Surrey's day.
