Temporary captain Jos Buttler strides to the crease. He has a quiet word with Stokes - this pair have got 10 overs to get Stokes to a century and smash a few sixes...

    Duckett b Shafiul 60 (Eng 216-4)

Time for some more Shafiul. You suspect England might be getting a tad frustrated here. Bangladesh have taken all the pace off the ball. And that's the end of Duckett's innings! He shuffles too far across his crease and misses a low full toss. An impressive performance on debut though.

Stokes is so good at that reverse sweep. A slower delivery from Mortaza is slapped down to the third man boundary. Pace off the ball seems to be the way to go. A jogged single brings up the 150 partnership from 151 balls. These two came together at 63-3. It's been a mature partnership, minus a few hiccups. It's a good over from Mortaza though, ending with a slower ball bouncer.

First game at U15 District level, playing against Duckett’s team at his old school – batted first and out for a golden duck. Duckett then went on to get an unbeaten century to win the game.

Duckett welcomes Mosaddek back by reverse sweeping his first ball behind square for four. Stokes skews one into the ground to move into the nervous nineties. This is better fielding from Bangladesh too. A few dives along the ground restricts England to just six from that over.

Opened bowling for Middlesex 2nds v Essex. Gooch had just had a pair against Thompson & Lilley and as the 1sts didn't have a game he played against us. I managed to bowl him back into form. He never looked back.

Stokes is not keen on doing much more running. It's a serious effort in this heat to keep nicking the singles. Then Mortaza unveils a glorious cutter that just misses Duckett's outside edge. It pitches outside leg and ends up just gliding over off-stump. He tries it again next ball. Duckett swings, ball high in the air... and drops between two fielders. Mortaza is a little miffed by that.

Martyn Howarth: Once drove 280 miles from Devon to York early on a Sunday morning for 1st game of a week's tour with The Cryptics. Snapped hamstring tripping over rabbit hole at square leg in the 1st over! Spent rest of week as reluctant scorer!

The ice blankets have been returned to the third man as Mosaddek returns. First ball is short and whipped through the covers by Stokes for four. These two are looking to accelerate now. Duckett gets down on one knee and clubs the ball to deep midwicket, where the fielder cuts it off. A few cheeky singles later and England bring up the 200.

Greetings from snowy Siberia....called up to play for my local village team after a good season with my University team.

Night before sprained my ankle in a non specific drinking accident so bowled an over of orthodox non spinning spin which went for 20 something, and dropped a catch at long on boundary off the skipper's bowling. But some redemption in blocking out the last half dozen or so overs to secure a draw.

Time for a breather for the players. This partnership is currently at 128 runs. It's rescued England from a sticky situation.

Shot! Stokes leans back to Mortaza, rolls his wrists and reverse-pulls the ball through backward point. It takes quick reactions to get that one away. A few quick singles and then Duckett works one through the leg-side for his half-century. Not a bad way to mark your debut. It's come from 63 balls.

Duckett clubs a short Taskin delivery away, but the fielder on the boundary dives and keeps it in play. The debutant has kept his cool here, and doesn't look like he's been affected by Stokes' lucky escapes. A misfield hands Stokes a single, and he nips through to register his highest ODI score.

Didn't quite get called up but... Was asked to try out for the schools 'A' team due to the fact I had a strong arm. Bowled 3 balls over the nets, 2 landed in cow droppings and the third went through the window of a windmill. Never asked again!

I get why Stokes is pushing here but I don't think he needs to - England still have Buttler, Moeen and Willey to come. This has also been a good partnership with Duckett. They keep the score ticking over with a few singles.
