    What. A. Delivery.

David Willey bowls a smidgen short of a yorker length, gets the ball to nip back and Ajinkya Rahane's stumps are splattered.

If England get Kohli in during the fist six overs, he might struggle in these conditions. We might find out if there is a weakness in his amazing technique

    Target 322

Chris Woakes is developing a bit of menace in his advancing years. Before delivering the first ball of India's run-chase, he stands at the top of his mark with a menacing stare. He follows it up with a spiteful delivery which spits past the batsman's chest. Good pace and carry. But can England make good use of it?

Maybe not... KL Rahul wastes little time in carving a six over extra cover from the third ball he faces. He follows up with a four. Statement.

Ajinkya Rahane and KL Rahul will open the batting for India. Chris Woakes has the ball in hand. Let's play.

During the interval, we've been having a natter on the desk about a restaurant in Bradford which has a signed Virat Kohli on the wall.

Which got us thinking... what's the most surprising setting where you've seen some cricket memorabilia.

    New year, new Higgo, Stephan.

    How is everyone?

This game's set up nicely. Providing England bowl well, of course.

“How often do you see someone run out off a wide?”

Happened a couple of days ago in the Big Bash League in the final over of the Melbourne Renegades v Brisbane Heat, when Heat’s Mitch Swepson took off for a panicked single off Rimmington’s wide, only to be run out, arguably costing Heat the match.

Tom Davies: If we win this by a slender runs margin,Woakes should take credit due to a splendid 34 from 19 and that sacrificial run out.

Peter Collins: The difference is that we typically leak runs when not taking wickets. India tighten up and make us work for it.

India all-rounder Hardik Pandya: "We bowled well at the start. There is some help for the new ball here so it's set up to be a good contest. The dew will come - we saw that in our practice session. That will also make it a good contest."

Yep, in the context of the first two games, where not even 350 was enough, 321 doesn't look like much. This, though, is a very different surface. England's attack should enough the bounce and movement.

It is a good effort in the end by England. This will take some doing. There is something in the pitch for the seam bowlers. If England's bowlers bowl a good line and length they will enjoy bowling on this surface. And they have five seam bowlers in their ranks.

Plunkett run out 1 (Eng 321-7)

All done. Liam Plunkett run out coming back for the second off the final ball. India will need 322 to win. On this surface, England have a sniff - but they have to bowl well.

Woakes run out 34 (Eng 319-7)

How often do you see someone run out off a wide? That's what happened here. Woakes runs through but is done at the non-striker's end. 34 off 19 is a strong knock, though.

Shot! This time Woakes finds a way of jamming another full ball behind point for four.

With this India batting line-up it is difficult to say what is a par score but this England total is a good one. Stokes and Woakes have done very well.

  19. Eng 314-6published at 49.3 overs

It's a good plan. They're dragging Stokes wide with cover on the fence. Only one more.

Good bowling. Kumar gets the yorker in to Woakes. Just one taken.
