Lovely from Bairstow, an uppercut that flies over Quinton de Kock's head and away for a boundary. Morkel then drops a tad short and Willey pulls nicely away for a couple. His dad Peter watches on from the stands - he's not a good watcher, by all accounts. The noise from the crowd is, slowly but surely, starting to build up again.
Cheers, JL. Right. Well. That was dreadful. Surely it can only get better from here on in? Morne Morkel's going to continue.
Bairstow 25, Willey 16
Quiet consolidation from the defiant Bairstow and Willey against the spin of Maharaj. The crowd are thoughtful but perhaps confident enough to break out the scotch eggs and the quiche. How are these two going to approach the remaining 35 overs? Amy Lofthouse will tell you.
Plenty of talk about the Champions Trophy, which starts on Thursday with England against Bangladesh - and there will be highlights every day on the BBC, with live commentary every day on TMS.
Bairstow 23, Willey 12
A delightful cut shot from Bairstow brings him a third boundary, perfectly on top of the extra bounce generated by Morkel from the Pavilion End. I was worried when I saw Jonny on the front of the Playfair annual because whoever is on the front often has a mediocre season. Time for drinks and plenty for the batsmen to discuss.

The run rate is below four. On a muggy, overcast day, it can do a little bit.

Josh Roberts: Bairstow to get a big 100, supported by Willey. Eng post 250. Finn takes a hatrick in his opening over. Eng win by 100 runs.
Bairstow 18, Willey 12
Not so sure they would have chosen to be 20-6 but it is certainly likely to give all the batsmen an opportunity. The England 50 is greeted by huge applause, a mixture of ironic, relieved and surprised. Bairstow and Willey push the singles off the spinner Maharaj.

I think this is brilliant for England going into the Champions Trophy. Sometimes you need that little bit of a sting, just to keep that hunger up. This is the perfect time for that.
Bairstow 16, Willey 10
This being Lord's there is not so much fancy dress as at other grounds, although those seeing some of the garb the members wear may dispute that. Morkel up to 89mph now and wicketkeeper De Kock at full stretch to gather the ball way above his head.

Barney: Bairstow will shepherd the tail for 44 overs; no drama.
Bairstow 15, Willey 9
Bit of a strange decision from AB De Villiers in his 100th ODI as captain, bringing on left-arm spinner Keshav Maharaj, whose first ball is short and wide and hammered off the back foot to the boundary by the redoubtable Bairstow.
Bairstow 10, Willey 9
Every run being cheered enthusiastically by the crowd, like the audience at a Christmas nativity play. Morkel already up at 87mph and gaining prodigious bounce. The end of the powerplay. Something of a recovery considering it was 20-6.

England's 20-6 is the worst start to an ODI innings at Lord's. The previous record was England's 62-6 against India in 2004.
Bairstow 9, Willey 8
Glorious cover drive from Bairstow to the boundary, England's sixth of a calamitous innings. Time for Morne Morkel, what's going to happen next?

Bairstow 3, Willey 8
Having said they were being more restrained, Willey tries to heave it over the media centre but makes no contact to Parnell, who is moving it away from the left-hander. Watery sunshine breaks through at Lord's and England will hope the ball will stop swinging.
