Imran Tahir didn't help - he was strolling towards Mosehle, perhaps hoping to be the first on the scene to celebrate.
Ebony Rainford-Brent
Ex-England batter on BBC Test Match Special
That was really tough to judge - it went high, kept moving and the keeper did well to commit. He'll be frustrated not to catch it though.
That was a tough catch. It is breezy and Mosehle never looked comfortable. In the end he ran about 20 yards to get there but couldn't hold on.
Alex Hales sees the lighter side, having a chuckle in Roy's direction.
Both batsmen see out the rest of the over.

It is in fact Chris Morris who starts us off. He got stuck into the England batsman at Taunton will we see more of the same?
Roy can't get the first two balls away so comes charging at the third and skies Morris high, high in the air.
Keeper Mangaliso Mosehle is circling under, dives full-stretch, it but can't get there. Tough chance but a let off.

Eoin Morgan is England's leader - he should be out there nurturing the young lads and leading the way this afternoon. He should be playing.

Why should people pay money to watch England play a series decider with a watered-down and weakened team? If the top players aren't interested why should the fans be?
Tony Cocozza, London
Malan will be eager to get out there but England will be hoping he has a little while to wait yet, coming in at number three.
Openers Jason Roy and Alex Hales are ready for the start of this innings. Morne Morkel is doing some stretches, as is Imran Tahir. Could we see spin early on?
Jerusalem belts out. Here we go...
England v South Africa (14:30 BST)
So those three England changes mean 29-year-old Dawid Malan makes his debut.
The Middlesex batsman has a pretty impressive T20 record, averaging 33.91 with a best of 115 being one of his two 20-over centuries.
He also hit 125 against South Africa A earlier this summer in a 50-over match which featured a couple of the South African bowlers on display today.
He was awarded his cap before play by former skipper Nasser Hussain.

Here at Cardiff, you get a truer surface when there's grass on the pitch. England will prefer this pitch than the one they played on against Pakistan in the Champions Trophy.
England v South Africa (14:30 BST)
This match, of course, sees England return to the site of their Champions Trophy semi-final defeat against Pakistan.
To add to the occasion, there has also been recent murmurings that this England white-ball side have an issue performing in knockout matches or series deciders.
On top of that semi-final loss to Pakistan, you'll remember England lost the World T20 final to the West Indies and were beaten by India in a T20 decider earlier this year.
The 50-over side also fell to a 3-2 series defeat in Cape Town in 2016 and the previous summer lost 3-2 against Australia.
A chance to right some wrongs?

Mark Savile: Plunkett at 7 gives England a long tail & pressure on top six
Sue: No Bairstow or Morgan in the series decider? I think this shows how seriously England take Pretendy Cricket.

*I have no idea what Daggers and Ebony are doing in that picture.
Liam Plunkett at number seven looks a little worrying for England fans.
Hopefully the men up the order can do the job.
A big day for Liam Livingstone who was a little shaky on Friday on debut.
South Africa captain AB de Villiers: "It looks a decent wicket. I think it'll play really well and it might get a bit better.
"We've got one change, with Imran Tahir back. We know what he's capable of. He bowls well on good wickets and I'm expecting a good performance.
"We told ourselves at Taunton we'd show passion for ourselves and our country. We get a great opportunity today to chase."
England captain Jos Buttler speaking at the toss: "We're continuing to give guys a go, so Eoin has decided to sit this one out. We're looking forward to playing a series decider. Looking forward to knockout competitions, we're getting into the lads' heads that this is like a final."

Rob Carrick: Ridiculous decision from England to play this team, it's 1v1 in a decider and we're 'giving players a chance'! Unbelievable
That's what Rob thinks. Here's what Jos Buttler had to say at the toss...
England v South Africa (14:30 BST)
Interesting team news from England.
The captain rests himself for this decider, Alex Hales returns as does Mason Crane for Liam Dawson.
Dawid Malan makes his England debut at number three, in place of Jonny Bairstow who returns to Yorkshire.
Plenty to discuss. Fire away ladies and gents. What do you make of that?
