  1. Pak 152-7published at 30 overs

Mohammad Amir, who left the field earlier, is fit enough to bat. Still, this one is done, an overcooked burger on the barbie. All that's left are the formalities.

The Indians are barely celebrating that wicket, they know this game is done.

    Sarfraz c Dhoni b Pandya 15 (Pak 151-7)

It's a procession. Sarfraz Ahmed tries to guide Hardik Pandya to third man, but only succeeds in finding the gloves of MS Dhoni. India aren't just winning this, they are lording it.

He's got the fielders in trying to tempt the man, trying to fish for some rabbit-pie wickets. Well played, straight off the bat.

  5. Pak 146-6published at 29 overs

    Need 143 from 72 balls

Ravi Jadeja will be all over this Pakistan lower order. Slip in place, Shadab not really sure which way it's going. When it doubt, swipe. Six over wide long-on, then a pull for four. Game on!

This match has been played in a nice, friendly manner today.

  7. Pak 136-6published at 28 overs

    Need 153 from 78 balls

There must be a rush to strap the pads on in the Pakistan in the dressing room. Shadab Khan is the latest to be pushed out of the door, only saved from being run out when the throw from the covers misses the stumps. There won't be long to go in this one.

It was actually quite a pleasant shot to watch; on the up drive, freedom of the arms, David Gower-esque. But straight to extra cover.

  9. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 27.3 overs

    Imad c Jadhav b Pandya 0 (Pak 135-6)

Hmmmm. If Imad Wasim is the greatest cricketer to be born in Swansea, it doesn't say much about Swansea. This shot, to his first ball, is ambitious. Leaning back to drive a ball that wasn't quite there. There was a decent connection, but it was straight to the man at extra cover.

The concourses and concrete surrounds rolling with contented Indian supporters, swimming in the warm evening sunshine, noisily certain of a comfortable win to take into Monday morning.

  11. Pak 134-5published at 27 overs

Imad Wasim (the greatest cricketer to be born in Swansea?) is the new man. When I said that you can't keep Jadeja out of the game, have a look at the run out...

The lack of pace on the ball from Jadeja made a cross the line shot a bit tricky. Hafeez gave it his all but it was a top edge.

  13. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 26.3 overs

    Hafeez c Bhuvneshwar b Jadeja 33 (Pak 131-5)

And the next one, please. Pakistan are careering towards defeat here, each wicket more inevitable that the last. Mohammad Hafeez takes a slog-sweep at Ravi Jadeja (you can't keep him out of the game) and is held on the leg-side fence. This one is almost done as a contest.

What is the reluctance in many of the Champions Trophy squads to pick spin bowlers? India, Australia, England, South Africa and New Zealand have their squads dominated by them. We all saw the damage that Imran Tahir did yesterday.

  15. Pak 131-4published at 26 overs

Back comes Hardik Pandya, certainly a challenger for the Dashing XI. Pakistan's running remains unconvincing, with a Tango in the middle of the pitch never far away. Every over that doesn't go for double figures sends the rate a little higher. It's like struggling to climb a mountain that keeps getting taller.

Pakistan need something magnificent here. India have been incredibly professional today.

  17. Pak 123-4published at 25 overs

    Need 166 from 96 balls

I like watching Sarfraz bat. He's a busy ball of energy. He must be a nightmare to play against. The skipper lap-sweeps Jadeja fine for four. Even with that, though, the required rate is above 10 an over. Pakistan might want to find that jetpack and strap it on.

Jay: Pakistan look devoid of ideas and don't seem to have a plan B. Plan A being praying for rain, of course

  19. Pak 117-4published at 24 overs

Looking again, Jadeja picked the ball up on the bounce, knee-high and had the ball out of his hands quicker than a hiccup. Sarfraz Ahmed, the skipper, is the new man. He's got a mountain to climb.

You do not run to Ravi Jadeja he hits the stumps every single time.

If you've been watching much of the IPL he's thrown down the stumps a lot from point.

Just as he got going and offered a bit of hope for Pakistan, he's gone.
