Match abandoned because of rain
One point each - both teams can still go through
Four overs short of a result
Ban 182: Tamim 95, Starc 4-29
Aus 83-1 (16 overs): Warner 40*
Kal Sajad and Amy Lofthouse
Here is the first wicket to fall, Soumya Sarkar keeping his feet rooted to the crease and tickling Josh Hazlewood behind.
An early change for Australia, with Pat Cummins into the attack. His line is a bit wonky, a little bit too leggy, and the batsmen can trade singles with ease. The wind is just starting to pick up across The Oval.

Really nice bit of bowling for the wicket. He set him up and then bowled one that was wider. There was no foot movement from Soumya, he almost looked like he wasn't ready for that ball.
Hazlewood 3-0-11-1
Imrul Kayes is the new man, and he's off the mark with . There's one or two gold Australia shirts in the crowd, but the stands are dominated by the green and red of Bangladesh. Oh tha's so nearly another wicket for Australia! Tamim swipes above his head, the ball ballooning up into the air, but it drops just short of the fielder charging around to cover.
Soumya c Wade b Hazlewood 3 (Ban 22-1)
First one gone! That's a good bit of bowling from Josh Hazlewood, striking Soumya on the pad with the first ball before that Soumya prodded forward and sent a thick outside edge behind. Wade dived in front of first slip and clung on. Looking at the replay, Soumya didn't play that ball brilliantly. Lead feet.
Tamim drives towards the boundary and Pat Cummins chases it, before realising he'll have to dive for it. He goes down like a footballer searching for a penalty and the ball escapes his hand and thuds into the rope. Matt le Tissier, looking like Phil Tufnell's long lost brother, nods approvingly as he watches on from the stands. The final ball from Starc is short, wide and given the treatment from Tamim.

Unbelievable shot from Tamim. What he did so well was just set himself. He gave himself room but it was all about the balance.
Tamim 7, Soumya 3
Four! That's emphatic from Tamim, skipping down the pitch and slapping the ball past Hazlewood.. He's nearly taken out his partner in the process, Soumya leaping into the air and ending up face down on the pitch. Nothing worse than getting thwacked by your own team-mate's shot.

Tamim has a horrible hoick at Starc and the ball balloons up off the glove, but it drops safely in front of Steve Smith at slip. Starc grins to himself as a yorker pitches horribly and Wade has to dive full stretch to his right to stop the ball skipping off to the boundary. That's a maiden.

It will be interesting to see how Bangladesh go about their innings. It's a used pitch. All the scores have been around the 300 mark but it's not racing onto the bat. You feel 280 could be a good score.
Here's Josh Hazlewood with an enormous yelp for lbw first up against Tamim. A bit of inside edge on that, maybe, and Tamim follows it up with a nervy-looking poke forwards. There's a hint of swing from Hazlewood and he chews down on his fingernail as Soumya pokes at the final ball of the over.

It's a must-win game for both sides. I'm surprised that Bangladesh batted first - I don't think the pitch will deteriorate. Both sides wanted to bat, which is strange when there's rain around.
Tamim 1, Soumya 0
A massive roar goes around The Oval as Bangladesh get their first boundary, a leggy delivery from Starc missing Tamim's flick and rolling down to the boundary for four byes. In fact, a single a ball later gets roughly the same reaction. It's a cracking atmosphere inside The Oval, but Starc's determined to spoil the party as he cracks down two fine yorkers.
Mitch Starc will open the bowling for Australia, with Tamim Iqbal in his sights. Will it swing? It hasn't so far in this tournament...
Massive fan of the Australia national anthem. The players have taken to the field but, I'm sorry to tell you, it's a bit of a grim forecast for this afternoon...
BBC Weather's Jen Bartram: "A rather wet afternoon in prospect at the Oval. It will start off cloudy and breezy, but rain will soon push in from the west. It will be rather patchy at first, but gradually turn heavier and more persistent through the afternoon, lasting well into the evening."

It's national anthem time, in front of an Oval crowd that is full of Bangladesh fans. It's pretty grey and windy but there's hints of blue sky peeking through. I do hope this won't be another washout...
Australia v Bangladesh
Bangladesh took on bookies' favourites England in the opening match of the tournament, and took full advantage of being asked to bat first.
Tamim Iqbal struck England's bowlers around The Oval as he made 128 and the Tigers posted their highest ODI total against England, but it always felt as though they had fallen short.
Their bowlesr struggled on a good batting pitch and, despite Jason Roy being dismissed cheaply, England reached the total with 16 balls to spare.
Australia v Bangladesh
Australia's first match of the tournament was curtailed by rain - and the bad weather arrived when the Aussies were struggling against New Zealand.
Their bowlers fought back well after an early onslaught from the Blackcaps, with Josh Hazlewood taking three wickets in four balls.
When the rain came, Australia were 53-3 and looking more than a little uncomfortable against New Zealand's seamers - something for Bangladesh to think about today...
