  1. Ban 141-4published at 34 overs

    Tamim 78, Sabbir 8

Tamim looks to pull one, top edges it and the ball falls safely in between mid-on and mid-wicket. He gets away with it but is definitely looking to up the pace here.

Entertaining over, albeit just the five singles conceded.

Time for some drinks, Tamim's earned it.

We definitely wouldn't be on in a red-ball game. The lights are desperately needed.

  3. Ban 136-4published at 33 overs

    Tamim 76, Sabbir 5

Shot! Tamim swivels on the spot and pulls one, sending leather crashing down to the fine-leg boundary.

He then charges down the wicket looking to slap one down the ground, finding the toe-end of his bat and also finding the man at mid-on.

A good battle this, Tamim v Cummins.

Someone's put a penny in the meter, the floodlights are slowly turning on.

  7. Ban 127-4published at 31 overs

    Tamim 70, Sabbir 3

Sabbir Rahman is new man in.

Will we see another lull in this Bangladesh innings? Tamim still knocking about.

Arguably one of the best fielders in the game, Maxwell lets another one go through his hands at backward point, much to the annoyance of Cummins.

Lbw shout from Cummins as the new batsman misjudges the line and takes one on the thigh pad. Seemed a bit high and Smith, rightly, decides not to review.

Once you see that hit the pads, you think Shakib is in a bad position. Tamim has kept things going, Shakib needs to keep the momentum. Now it throws it back into Australia's favour.

  9. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 29.5 overs

    Shakib lbw b Head 29 (Ban 122-4)

What a great comeback from Head. He'll take them two sixes for that wicket. Shakib was a fair way down but replays show it was going on to hit the stumps. Good decision from the umpire.

Just when Bangladesh started showing some confidence.

Boom! That is brilliant. He's been thinking about that shot for a while but hasn't been able to get it past extra cover. Now, he's gone aerial.

  13. 6 runs

    Ban 121-3published at 29.2 overs

Oh here we go, two sixes in a row from Tamim! He smashes one over to cow corner followed by another massive one over long-on.

Travis Head's figures suddenly don't look as impressive.

  14. Ban 109-3published at 29 overs

    Tamim 55, Shakib 29

Tamim does a jig down the wicket, Cummins goes in short. Nicely done.

Fierce again from Cummins, angling one into the body of the Bangladesh opener who takes a knock on the ribs. He turns away the physio, 'ard as nails.

  16. Ban 106-3published at 28 overs

    Tamim 53, Shakib 28

Bangladesh fans cheering every run now. Shakib and Tamim showing a bit of intent but can't find the boundary. They seem content enough with the singles.

Travis Head is racing through his overs.

I'm looking at various weather forecasts, apparently we will see some light rain at 16:29 BST. Specific.

It's a mini-fightback and it's all around Tamim. He did it in the first game and he's doing it now. You feel there's a lot resting on his shoulders.

  18. Ban 102-3published at 27 overs

    Tamim 51, Shakib 26

Full and wide from Mitch Starc and Tamim stretches his arms, reaching out to guide it through point for four.

The Aussie seamer then goes short, but still wide, and it is cut off the back foot for a couple more.

The 100 is up for Bangladesh, these two doing well in the rebuilding job.

    Cheers, Amy.

Right then, let's see what the second half of this innings has in store for us. Hopefully no rain.

Travis Head continues to be economical, conceding just the one run. He's gone for 16 from his six.
