  1. wicket

    Mushfiqur lbw b Henriques 9 (Ban 53-3)

That's oh-so-very out. Mushfiqur plays all around a straight delivery from Henriques and the ball looks set to clatter into middle and leg. Henriques was celebrating as he appealed, which is a sign of how confident he was. Mushfiqur has to trudge off.

    Ban 53-2

While the players take a drink, we're discussing famous non-cricketers playing cricket. Geoff Hurst played one first-class match for Essex in 1962. He ended on 0 (not out, though) and didn't bowl. A very good fielder, apparently., external Keep sending us your famous non-cricketers using #bbccricket or text 81111.

  3. Ban 53-2published at 16 overs

    Mushfiqur 9, Tamim 28

Mushfiqur adds another couple of runs as he gets on one knee and scoops over his shoulder, beating Wade up at the stumps. The drinks are coming on to the field, which gives Bangladesh a chance to regroup and work out how they're going to deal with the accurate Australia attack.

Ben Dunbar: Paul Scholes was told to give up playing cricket by Fergie and went on to hit six sixes in an over for Middleton. Made the papers.

Colin Frontczak: Huddersfield Town legend Andy Booth used to play in the Huddersfield Drakes League for Hall Bower.

  5. Ban 50-2published at 15 overs

Moises Henriques is going to have a bowl. Oh, that's so close, Mushfiqur! He comes down the wicket and has a bit of a mow but only gets an inside edge that just bounces past the stumps. Henriques puts his arms on his head as a more sedate stroke brings up Bangladesh's 50.

Tamim has been batting for a while. After he got that 100 against England, Bangladesh must have discussed whether he can be a little bit more aggressive.

  7. Ban 47-2published at 14 overs

    Tamim 27, Mushfiqur 4

Some spin for Australia, in the form of Travis Head. The camera pans to a baby in the crowd, dressed in a tiger onesie, looking a tad bemused at proceedings. Tamim uses his feet to Head but can only spoon an inside edge away to the fielder. Just the two runs from that over.

Glenn Hoddle and Graham Roberts used to play cricket for a village team just outside Harlow in Essex, back in the day when they were both playing for Spurs in the top flight. Remember getting pictures and autographs. Wouldn't happen today, which is a shame.

  9. Ban 45-2published at 13 overs

Tamim chucks a drive at a wider Cummins delivery and narrowly avoids edging behind to Wade. He's been becalmed - Bangladesh haven't scored a boundary since the final ball of the fifth over. Mind you, it was Tamim and Mushfiqur that did the damage against England, with 128 and 79 respectively on this very ground.

Pat Cummins will continue - he's looked in much better rhythm than he did against New Zealand on Friday, using his extra pace to force Imrul Kayes into playing this shot...

  11. Ban 43-2published at 12 overs

    Tamim 25, Mushfiqur 3

Mushfiqur takes on Hazlewood's short ball with a pull but he doesn't control it, and the top edge drops just short of Cummins at fine leg. Steve Smith, standing at slip, raises his hands above his head and rolls his eyes. In happier news for everyone, the sun has come out!

Martin Offiah played cricket for Essex 2nd XI, apparently...

  13. Ban 39-2published at 11 overs

    Cummins 3-0-8-1

Here's Mushfiqur, greeted to the wicket with a short ball from Cummins. Mushfiqur arches his back and sways out the way. Cummins huffs down a real effort ball to Tamim and it's called a wide, the ball sailing well above Tamim's head.

Kayes will be very disappointed. Very short but the extra bounce and pace from Cummins did the trick. Pretty easy in the end for Finch.

  15. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 10.2 overs

    Kayes c Finch b Cummins 6 (Ban 37-2)

That's catching practice for Aaron Finch! Kayes plonks one foot forward, drives and sends the ball straight into Finch's hands at point. It was a bit shorter from Cummins and the pace seemed to surprise the batsman.

  16. Ban 37-1published at 10 overs

    Hazlewood 5-0-17-1

Ooft, that's close! Tamim tries to flick Hazlewood off his hip, the ball takes an outside edge and lands perilously in front of a diving Wade. Wade lifts his head up from the turf and gives Tamim the full glare. Meanwhile a fella in the crowd, wearing a cork hat, stands up in front of a load of Bangladesh fans and cheers Hazlewood. He gets some good-natured heckling in response.

Tamim is in such good form at the minute - here's his brief assault against Mitch Starc earlier in the innings.

Steph has just informed me that Matt Le Tissier was a very good cricketer. So, let's have your stories of seeing sportsmen who aren't cricketers playing cricket. Gary Neville playing cricket in Bury with Matt Hayden instantly springs to mind. Have any of you ever played against a footballer/long jumper/rugby player? Get in touch. On the pitch, Pat Cummins continues and Bangladesh milk a few singles.

Hampshire look to be heading towards an innings win over Warwickshire at the Ageas Bowl. A double century from Sean Ervine put the home side in control, with Warwickshire still trailing by 107 runs and only 2 wickets remaining.

  20. Ban 33-1published at 8 overs

    Tamim 21, Kayes 5

Hazlewood took 6-52 against New Zealand on Friday and he's hit his mark straight away here. Kayes gets a couple with a good old fashioned swipe across the line, the ball rolling away through square leg. It's a good over for Bangladesh though, working the ball here and there to keep the scoreboard ticking over.
