Here is that drop from Maxwell. Should have clung on to that, for my money. I'll leave you to dwell on that while Kal Sajad takes you through the last 25 overs.
Match abandoned because of rain
One point each - both teams can still go through
Four overs short of a result
Ban 182: Tamim 95, Starc 4-29
Aus 83-1 (16 overs): Warner 40*
Kal Sajad and Amy Lofthouse

Tamim 51, Shakib 17
And Mitch Starc is indeed back into the attack. He's got Shakib in his sights and gets a short ball to creep up on the batsman, but Shakib drops his hands and taps it down. Tamim does get on strike and aims a big, booming drive through mid-wicket, but he ends up scuffing the ball into the turf.

That was the momentum that Bangladesh needed. Australia will look to bring on some extra pace.
Ban 90-3
An almighty noise around The Oval as Tamim jogs a single to bring up his half-century. He's weathered the storm from the Australian bowlers and really kicked on in that last over. It's his 37th half-century in one-day cricket.

Marcus Mumford of Mumford & Sons regularly used to turn out for a local village team in Devon. Unfortunately an older chap in the team mentioned in the pub "some lad called Marcus plays for us, apparently he's quite good at music." Next game they got more coverage than usual - sadly from gossip mags and that ended Marcus' regular turn out.

Now, this next text is a belter...
Tamim 49, Shakib 14
Insult to injury from Tamim! Six! That's glorious, using his feet to Henriques and thumping the ball into the stands. He holds the pose for the cameras, too. And four to follow it up! A crunching pull through mid-wicket. And he rounds off the over with four more for good measure, flicking round the corner and beyond Mitch Starc. 16 from the over!

Glenn Maxwell dropping one, you do not see that very often. The delivery was short and wide, the shot was on but Shakib mis-hit it. He's normally one of the best fielders on the planet.
Ban 72-3
What was I just saying about Glenn Maxwell? I take it back. That's a proper drop from Maxwell. Starc took Shakib aback with a shorter delivery, Shakib cut and it went straight to Maxwell at backward point. In the hands, and then straight back out. That's a proper dolly.

Mark Stevens: Samuel Beckett played first-class cricket. I also think that John Cleese's schoolboy exploits got him into Wisden one year.
Henriques 4-0-14-1
Glenn Maxwell is very good in the field. A shy at the stumps comes fizzing in but Shakib thrusts his bat back. A faint cheer goes up as Tamim pulls aerially, but it drops awkwardly for Smith at mid-wicket and Bangladesh can nab a couple of runs.

Cricketers are some of the best weather watchers in the world. They have all sorts of apps on their phones and rain alarms. As soon as rain starts to come into your area, the alarm will go off.
Travis Head gets through his overs so quickly. Steve Smith pulls off a nice spot on the edge of the circle but ends up tripping over his own feet slightly, which draws a smirk from the Australia captain. It's all rather sedate at the moment.

Laurie Sivell (Ipswich and the mighty Lincoln City Goalkeeper) played cricket for Lowestoft Town for a lot of years, he was also the German Goalkeeper in the Michael Caine film Escape to Victory.

Tamim 29, Shakib 8
Darren Lehmann is on the walkie-talkie up in the dressing room, talking to sub-fielder John Hastings. Swapping plans, I assume. All the subs are gathered around Hastings as he listens, like it's a spy film. This is another good over from Henriques, a tight line, and Shakib can only batter away a couple of runs.
Hotspot shows us that Mushfiqur got a definite edge on the delivery that dismissed him lbw. I'm not entirely sure how he didn't notice, but his bat and pad were very close together...
Head continues, spearing the ball in to the batsmen's pads. Shakib and Tamim contend themselves with a few singles. The blue sky is trying its best to poke through above The Oval, but there's still one or two ominous clouds around.

Simon Goodall: Man City and Man United played a cricket match in 1968. It was Ken Higgs' Testimonial. Included Best and Summerbee amongst others
Richard Pettinger: Anyone else old enough to remember Jim Standen and Jim Cumbes playing football in the winter and the cricket in the summer?
Henriques 2-0-7-1
A shot and a half from new man Shakib, thrashing the ball past Maxwell and away for four. Now then. The ultra edge on the telly is suggesting there was a touch of bat on that Mushfiqur dismissal. There's also a mark on Hotspot - and a fairly clear one at that - but Mushfiqur didn't pause to review it.

That was very adjacent. Mushfiqur is a little lad, if he misses it then it's more than likely hitting the stumps. This is exactly what Moises Henriques needed for his confidence.
