As we headed into the final ten, the talk was of Tamim Iqbal closing in on his second consecutive century.
That never happened.
Step up Mitch Starc, with this tremendous over.

Zampa's hair, I'm reliably informed, includes a perm.
Steve Smith then brought Goldilocks into the game.
And didn't he bowl well? Adam Zampa finished with figures of 4-1-13-2.

We have to talk about the class of Tamim. It's one thing to be in a team when there are lots of high-quality players, but different when it falls on your shoulders. He was left without someone to support him, but it was another brilliant knock.
But the Bangladesh opener kept on going ...
Tamim is just one man, he needed the support of his teammates but saw them come and go ...

A few years ago David Essex rocked up to play at the beautiful village of Tilford. Bowling right arm slow, round the wicket had a huge LBW appeal declined with the simple response 'That'll be the Day, David'
Adi from Farnham
Fresh from his century against England at Edgbaston last Thursday, Tamim Iqbal picked up from where he left off.
Right, that was a quick end to the innings. I'm surprised to see that rain played no part - let's hope it stays that way.
A recap on what has happened today ...
Australia bowler Mitchell Starc, who took 4-29: "It's a much improved performance. We spoke a lot about it after the last game. It was a much cleaner effort today with the ball.
"It's quite windy and cold so we didn't see much swing. It was just a more disciplined bowling effort from all of us today.
"Hopefully the weather goes away but it's out of our control now. We've done our job with the ball."
Shall we hear from the man of the moment?

That's really high quality bowling from Starc, coming in at the back end when you need to wrap up the innings. He's spearing it in and any team will have a real challenge dealing with that. Time today is precious.
Mehedi b Starc 14 (Ban 182 all out)
It's over. Starc again. Mehedi makes room, shows his stumps and you don't do that to Mitch Starc in this game. Four wickets in nine balls for him.
After the business of that Starc over, Cummins kindly allows us to take a breather. Mehedi still looking to swing his arms but can't get one away.
I said earlier it will be interesting to see what approach Bangladesh take to this innings. That was when Tamim was settled. But then this happened ...

Coming round the wicket, full and straight to the right-hander, that will be so handy during the rest of the tournament.
So close! Again Starc goes full and swings one in, but a fraction wide of the off stump. Mustafizur didn't get his eye on that one.
What an over. Triple wicket maiden.

Australia will be thinking that the weather is closing in. It's almost a race against time.
Rubel b Starc 0 (Ban 181-9)
Ohhhh Bangladesh! Make that three in four balls. Rubel can't get any bat on it and the middle stumps goes all wobbly.
Hat-trick ball for Starc ...

That's a potent delivery. It doesn't matter who the batsman is. Full, straight, bang.
