Katherine Brunt is looking lean. She shines the ball on the back of her trousers and continues to gently arc it into Hansika, who can't get it off the square. 16 consecutive dots. 17. Hansika must feel like England are suffocating her. 18. Three Brunt-to-Hansika maidens.

A couple of good strikes from Perera, she just about managed get it over the top with her first boundary, though. It's a good wicket to bat on. It's holding together well.

Was that text message meant for us? There's certainly no drum and bass being played in Taunton. More like commercial dance. You know, Saturday night in a Scream Bar (do Scream Bars still exist?). Runs! Perera heaves Shrubsole over mid-on, then slices a drive behind point. Back-to-back fours.

So what's the deal with international cricket teams adopting change strips? Australia have played in green at home and yellow away for a few years, but they don't change if they clash with the oppo. It started in the Champions Trophy and now Sri Lanka have gone for a yellow number, presumably because England play in blue. However, they are still wearing blue jumpers. Is this some cynical marketing ploy to milk the cricket fans of Sri Lanka? No sign of a run being scored...

As ever, Anya Shrubsole shares the new ball, naturally taking the ball across this pair of left-handed openers. Hasini Perera is another who is getting hit on the pads a lot. Decent crowd at crowd at Taunton, maybe half full. Plenty to come too - the ground is slap bang in the middle of the town, so a few will walk up later. Another maiden.

I always think against the perceived lesser nations you should be looking to bowl gun barrel straight. They are more likely to play and miss so you are in the market for lbws.

Nipuni Haniska, a left-hander, takes guard as Katherine Brunt, on her 32nd birthday, has the ball. Immediate swing for Brunt, targeting the front pad, two appeals for leg before. I tell you what, they are both pretty close. Heather Knight even has a little word with the umpire at the end of the over. Sri Lanka should probably be one down.

I think the best Sri Lanka can hope to look for is something around the 200 mark. England have found their form and blown the cobwebs away - they should win easily. They will look to grab the game by the scruff off the neck.

The other games? Some local derbies. Australia meet New Zealand in Bristol and Pakistan take on India in Derby. In Leicester, South Africa play West Indies.

The teams are out extraordinarily early for the anthems. The ICC have finally cottoned on to the fact that Sri Lanka's takes some time. The Lankans are sporting their rather vibrant change yellow kit.

Sri Lanka have won the toss at a roasting hot Taunton and will bat first. England make two changes - Lauren Winfield returns after a wrist injury and Laura Marsh gets a recall. Georgia Elwiss and Alex Hartley miss out.

Now, on a Super Sunday of four simultaneous matches, they take on a Sri Lanka side that gave Australia a mini scare.
