Player of the match Laura Marsh: "It's always hard to miss out, but it's great to get a chance today and it's brilliant to get some wickets.

"It's always nice when it turns. They had a few left-handers so it's good to get it turning away from the bat.

"The team is playing really well. We'll take lots of confidence going into the next game."

Oh yes. Heather Knight could bring the end of this about pretty quickly. A full-bunger from Madhavi, easily picked up over the deep mid-wicket fence to a big cheer from the Taunton crowd. Taylor wants a second run that would take her to a half-century, but Knight turns it down. Sensible.

The TV commentators are noting how well Heather Knight deals with the captaincy. She certainly seems like she's in control of everything - from the cover drive to the expectation of a World Cup on home soil.
