That's fifty for Graeme van Buuren. He's batted very well today and with every ball he's getting Gloucestershire closer to a draw.

Here's how he got there off Luke Fletcher's bowling.

    Surrey 399 & 288 v Essex 435 & 159-2 (42 overs)

Tom Westley is now the senior partner for Essex and he forces Surrey skipper Gareth Batty away for four, before sweeping a second boundary from the penultimate ball of the over to move to 46 not out.

Partner Dan Lawrence has yet to get off the mark, but the visitors' target is now 94 runs away.

Right, let's catch our breath. That's wins for Yorkshire, Lancashire and Sussex so far today, and we have two games remaining.

Essex are chasing a target against Surrey at Guildford, while Division Two leaders Notts are trying to bowl out Gloucestershire at Bristol for a fifth win of the season.

We are staying with you till both those games come to an end. So please stay with us.

  10. Lancashire go third in Division Onepublished at 15:05 British Summer Time 12 June 2017

Lancashire beat Middlesex by eight wickets

That win - Lancashire's second of the season - takes them up to third place in the Division One table. Steven Croft's side will drop to fourth if Essex complete a win over Surrey, however.

Middlesex, meanwhile, are still without a win this season as four straight draws ends with defeat in Southport. They are in sixth place, ahead of Somerset and Warwickshire.

    Middlesex 180 & 236 v Lancashire 309 & 111-2 (30.2 overs)

    Haseeb HameedImage source, Rex Features

Not to be out-done by their rivals, Lancashire bring up their own win over Middlesex as Haseeb Hameed (38 not out) and Steven Croft (34 not out) get to the target courtesy of a Croft six off Ravi Patel.

It may not be as dramatic as Yorkshire's victory, but this is still quite an achievement. Defending champions Middlesex came into the game on a 21-game County Championship unbeaten streak, but have been well-beaten at Southport.

They owe a lot to Ryan McLaren's 75 and Tom Bailey's 58 in Lancashire's second innings, while Stephen Parry's 5-45 was also crucial.

    Surrey 399 & 288 v Essex 435 & 148-2 (37.4 overs)

Are we in for another thriller at Guildford? Essex seemed to be cruising towards victory, but Nick Browne has gone, edging a catch to slip after hitting his 13th four off the previous delivery.

Dan Lawrence is the new batsman, coming out to join Tom Westley, who has 35, with another 105 needed.

  13. YORKSHIRE BEAT SOMERSET BY 3 RUNSpublished at 14:44 British Summer Time 12 June 2017
    Breaking

    Yorkshire 202 & 283 v Somerset 224 & 258 (85.3 overs)

What a finish at Taunton! Jamie Overton hammers Adam Lyth for six, and then scampers two leg byes after missing an attempted sweep.

With just four needed for Somerset's first win of the season Overton chips the next ball towards mid-wicket where Karl Carver takes the catch, which the umpires confirm was a clean one.

Having gone into the game without leading wicket-taker Ben Coad, Tim Bresnan and Jack Brooks, as well as their England quartet of Root, Bairstow, Rashid and Plunkett, Yorkshire come out of it with a victory that lifts them above Division One leaders Hampshire.

But top spot won't be theirs for long, with either Surrey or Essex set to leapfrog them, depending on the result at Guildford.

    Quote Message

What a remarkable game. Some of the most compelling cricket we have seen this season."

    Yorkshire 202 & 283 v Somerset 224 & 250-9 (84.2 overs)

Jack Leach plays slightly across the line, misses and up goes the umpire's finger. What a spell this is by Ryan Sidebottom - 3-19 in this spell.

Somerset need 12 to win as Dom Bees digs out a yorker to end the over. Who is going to win - or will we see a tie?

    Yorkshire 202 & 283 v Somerset 224 & 248-8 (83 overs)

Yorkshire skipper Gary Ballance is persisting with the combination of Ryan Sidebottom and spinner Adam Lyth. Will it pay off? Somerset just need 14 more runs.

  17. Lancashire approaching their targetpublished at 14:34 British Summer Time 12 June 2017

    Middlesex 180 & 236 v Lancashire 309 & 72-2 (19 overs)

Haseeb Hameed (22 not out) and Steven Croft (11 not out) are moving Lancashire towards their target. They need a further 36 runs to win to end Middlesex's 21-game unbeaten streak.

James Harris and Ravi Patel are bowling, but the visitors are just going through the motions now.

Browne looks good for Essexpublished at 14:29 British Summer Time 12 June 2017

    Surrey 399 & 288 v Essex 435 & 119-1 (32 overs)

    Nick BrowneImage source, Rex Features

As things reach a crescendo at Taunton, Essex are quietly going about their business against Surrey in search of a target of 253. Opener Nick Browne brought up a 78-ball fifty with the help of two fours in an over off Gareth Batty and he and Tom Westley have added 66 for the second wicket. They need another 134 to reclaim top spot in Division One.

    Yorkshire 202 & 283 v Somerset 224 & 242-8 (80.3 overs)

Ryan Sidebottom strikes again as Craig Overton edges an attempted drive to the keeper and now it really is a test of nerve for the two teams. Somerset need 20 runs, Yorkshire need two wickets. Can Jamie Overton and new partner Jack Leach get Somerset over the finishing line?

  20. wicket

WICKET Dent (lbw b Hutton) 71published at 14:20 British Summer Time 12 June 2017

    Gloucestershire 303 & 126-4 (49.3 overs) v Nottinghamshire 535-8d

Chris Dent was playing wonderfully, but he's played an ugly shot across the line and paid the price. Brett Hutton with the wicket and Nottinghamshire break a partnership of 91 runs.

Game on? Gloucestershire still trail by 106 runs with six wickets remaining.
