Eng 101-1
More good running from Bairstow, who hits the ball straight at Head but knows the Aussie is deep enough to take on as the opener scurries through and dives home.
The returning Starc goes short and Hales pulls it round the corner for one.
Glorious! Starc over-pitches a tad and Bairstow batters it straight back down the ground. One bounce for four - that's fifty for Bairstow and the 100 up for England.

Aaron Finch is very much a part-timer and I can reveal he has got me out before, stumped I think, which was very disappointing.
Finch continues to send down his nondescript slow left armers but his line is tight enough to limit Hales to just two off the over.

Hearing James Taylor say at the back of the box there that Alex Hales runs through treacle, we used to say at Lancashire that Mal Loye ran in custard wellies.
Target 271
On Hales goes then, picking up another single from the last ball.
It was tight but Hales did indeed slide his bat in before Carey could remove the bails.
Smart bit of keeping by the debutant to gather the throw from Starc and get back to the stumps.
Bairstow and Hales continue to tick the scoreboard along before the latter glances it away to third man and sets off for two.
The throw comes in and Carey whips off the bails. Hales looked in but it's been sent upstairs...

England can just sit on Aaron Finch and wait for the bad ball because I think there will be a few coming down.
Bairstow 45, Hales 37
The first is dragged down but Bairstow misses out and can only pick up one before Hales does the same.
The third is dragged down and sliding down leg and this time Bairstow cashes in, swiping it away powerfully to the boundary.
The slow left arm of Aaron Finch is coming on...

Something England did really well, they almost risked a leg-side wide to be bowling straight. Tye is far too wide of off-stump.
Need 193 more to win
Tye tricks Bairstow with a slower ball as the England opener chips it rather streakily over the top and away for three. He was through the shot very early but still somehow managed to get a decent contact off the middle.
Hales clips into leg for one before Bairstow unfurls another delicious cut shot to smack a short, wide ball away for four.
Bairstow 31, Hales 35
Head restricts England to three singles from the first three balls. But that's enough of that for Bairstow, who sweeps the fourth away to the fence.
Steve Smith sighs heavily.

It's been a very good start from England. Losing Roy was a blow but Bairstow and Hales have played some really nice shots, put the bad balls away and cruised to 60 off 10.

Target 271
Tye varies it up with a bouncer that Bairstow calmly ducks under. But Tye then strays into a length that just sees the ball sit up invitingly for Bairstow to batter away past point for four.
And that's exactly six an over for the powerplay from England.
Since making his debut in 2012, Nathan Lyon has played only 13 ODIs, the most recent of which was in August 2016.
