To be fair, I'm not sure that was a chance. Lovely bowling from Broad though...
Azhar 2, Haris 14
A relative flurry of runs as Azhar Ali clips to fine leg for one and Haris Sohail slices through the covers for a couple.
Stuart Broad fires another up full, looking to tempt Haris, but again the Pakistan number three goes in to out and slides it through point to the fence.
Chance! Broad finds the edge next up as Haris drives loosely - Jos Buttler at gully gets his fingertips to it but the ball zips through and away for four.

I'd be very happy to see England lose by a few runs in the last session of a close game. We are not just failing to win, we are often thrashed within 3 or 4 days. How many times in the last two years? Positive cricket? Poor entertainment.
Howard Watson, Scarborough
Haris Sohail gets off the mark with a four past gully, played with soft enough hands not to be a chance though.
James Anderson gets his length right and beats the outside edge next up.
Broad squares up Azhar with one that lifts and flies through just outside off.
The England bowler then swings one the other way, targeting the pads, but the Pakistan opener jams his bat down in time.
No runs there, another maiden for Broad, who looks in fine fettle today.

Expect lots of chat about the construction site at the Football Stand End over the next five days.
Anderson also goes round the wicket to Sohail and finishes up with a very full ball that absolutely hoops back in.
Sohail left that alone, thinking it was the outswinger, but it ended up not far past off stump.
It moved so much that it required a good grab by Jonny Bairstow behind, diving low to his right.
The first run of the day!
James Anderson swings a couple well outside off and adjusts to attack the pads, but Azhar Ali clips it away square and scampers through for a single.
Ironic cheers from some in the crowd.

Richie Macca: The way Broad is bounding in, feels like we could see one of those spells from him!
Jack: Broad looks firrrreeed up here
Stuart Broad starts over but then goes round the wicket to new batsman Haris Sohail.
Oh! Broad fires down delicious full delivery that just leaves the left-hander at the last minute and narrowly misses the edge.
That's four straight maidens for England.
A solid enough over from Anderson and another maiden.
Could do with getting Azhar to play at more though.

In two overs at Headingley, England have shown more intensity than the entire four days at Lord's.

Let's compliment the bowler for pitching it up - if the batsman are daft enough to go after it, great!

That was not a great shot. It was wide, pushed across the batsman and the ball went rather quickly to Joe Root.
Imam c Root b Broad 0 (Pak 0-1)
Gone this time! Imam ul-Haq's reprieve lasted all of four balls.
Stuart Broad pushes it up and across the left-handed opener, who unfurls a flashy drive and can only nick it through to Joe Root at third slip.
Good hands from the England captain to snaffle the catch above his head.

Ooof... I'd have given that out. Crikey!
Oh! It's going over the top!
That looked very much out in real time but ball tracking shows that was sliding over the top of middle and off.
A reprieve for Imam.

Imam immediately reviewed it. The only reason I can think of is height - it looked a good shout to me. He made it look worse by overbalancing.
