Moeen 9-1-29-3
Moeen Ali rifles through another over, conceding just two singles.
As Australia's trial by spin continues, I'll hand you over to Amy Lofthouse to take you through to the close of this innings.

England are whipping through their overs. As a batsman, you can really feel when that pressure is on.
Good start from Joe Root, continuing the tight lines and lengths found by Moeen and Rashid to limit Australia to just five off the over as the tourists finally bring up the 100.
Meanwhile, in relative terms New Zealand women have slowed up against Ireland and won't be clearing 500. However, Amelia Kerr has just brought up her double century. Aged 17. Wow.
Belinda Clark is the only other woman to ever score a double ton in ODI cricket, hitting 229 not out for Australia against Denmark in 1997.
England are going to introduce even more spin to torment Australia as Joe Root prepares to enter the attack.
Moeen Ali has been tormentor-in-chief, but Adil Rashid got in on the act with this dismissal of Marcus Stoinis...

You get the feeling that the hotter Maxwell gets beneath his helmet, the more he'll be itching to hit the spinners.
I obviously have no way of verifying Hector's story there.
But Moeen Ali is having the last laugh here if the Australians really don't rate him.
Another tight and testing over, conceding just three from it.

I met the whole Aussie team at the Coogee Pavilion (Sydney) the day after the Sydney Test, where they were celebrating appropriately! Talking to them they genuinely think Moeen is rubbish, “like throwdowns but easier mate” - dangerous attitude to have especially in ODI cricket. For the record Smith thought Malan was our best spinner (maybe he was just rubbing it in)

I've been out and about, on the lookout for any blatant, ball-tampering-related Aussie-baiting. It's all quiet, possibly because the way they are batting is a big enough stick to beat the tourists with. I've seen one lad with some green sandpaper tucked into his trousers, but that's it.
Rashid 6-0-21-1
Ashton Agar gets off the mark with a single, tucking off his pads.
Glenn Maxwell then goes for an almighty hack off an Adil Rashid googly and is lucky to see the inside edge fly safe through square leg.

Glenn Maxwell made a hundred against Sri Lanka in the 2015 World Cup, and that was when everyone said he had come of age and would have a long run in white-ball cricket. He hasn't quite transitioned into that. Ricky Ponting has brought a lot of out of him, especially in the recent T20 series against New Zealand.
Moeen 7-1-24-3
Moeen Ali bowls a maiden.
To Glenn Maxwell.
In the 21st over of an ODI innings.
England all over Australia.

Kenny: Looks like Australia need some batting lessons from Calum MacLeod.
Ashton Agar is in at number seven. England fans know he can bat after that infamous 98 in the 2013 Ashes but it's a sign of the lack of depth in Australia's batting that he's in here.
Adil Rashid finishes off another fine over with a couple of dot balls.

It's a very innocuous kind of shot. Once again, an Australian makes a start but can't go on.

It's unusual to edge a googly off the outside edge. An unusual dismissal.
Stoinis c Buttler b Rashid 22 (Aus 90-5)
Another one down!
Marcus Stoinis tries to cut Adil Rashid away but it's the googly and the Aussie ends up feathering a top edge through to Jos Buttler.
It ended up perhaps too close to cut but an odd dismissal all the same, Stoinis managing to nick it despite the ball spinning back into him.
He may have just been clattered for six but Moeen has tormented Australia today, picking up three wickets, including the dismissal of captain Tim Paine...
Andy Zaltzman
BBC Test Match Special statistician
Before today, Moeen had taken 24 wickets in his previous 40 ODI innings, at an average of 72.
Moeen's figures take a bit of a blow as he concedes 11 off the over, the Aussies scampering a good, quick two off the last.
