Arvind: To be fair, it has been a great series so far. A closely fought first Test, England used the conditions in the second Test brilliantly and India are doing the same now. Nothing beats Test cricket.

Plenty of debate regarding team selection, BUT if you continually drop catches and bat poorly, personnel changes will not change this? Better coaching and mindset are required!

Which rule change would you make?

I would ban people from bowling in a hat, I think it looks dreadful.

Oscar - When are we going to see a woman play in a men's international team?

I don't think so, physiologically the games are very different. We don't grow up facing very quick bowling. There is a small reaction time difference and women are not as strong, but the skill levels are very high in the women's game now.

Chris in Maidstone - seeing as the England Test team seem to crumble under pressure, what can you pass on to the England team ahead of the World Cup next summer?

The ODI team don't need too much advice, the way they are going at the moment. A few of us went off social media for all of the tournament which I found useful - to stay in our own bubble. We kept our preparation the same for every game. The preparation for the final was the same as any game all over the world.

England women captain Heather Knight on TMS on the men's team's performance:

I have sympathy as a player, knowing how tough it is and how easy it is to look in on players but it has been a little disappointing. They haven't shown a huge amount of fight. I really hope Stokes and Buttler can dig in and salvage a little bit from this game.

Buttler struck four boundaries to reach 19 but England reached lunch on 84-4, with five sessions - or 437 runs - still to negotiate.

There was one mistake from the India fielders, debutant wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant just unable to cling on to this difficult chance offered by Jos Buttler on one.

In the next over after the dismissal of his captain, 20-year-old Ollie Pope also played a shot he will not want to see again, but what about this catch from Indian captain Virat Kohli, reminiscent of the mighty Ian Botham against the Aussies in '85.

But the England captain will not want to see this one again, a wretched shot flying to second slip where Rahul took another sharp chance expertly, his fifth catch of the match. He even had time for a Dele Alli-style celebration.

Not much to cheer for England supporters this morning but skipper Joe Root struck this fluent boundary through the covers to remind them of the better times.

The England openers were both dismissed within the opening 17 minutes this morning, Alastair Cook neatly caught at second slip by KL Rahul for 17 to leave them on 32-2.

England resumed on 23-0 this morning, needing a further 498. They managed four before the first wicket fell to the fifth delivery of the morning, Keaton Jennings tamely caught behind for 13, completing a disappointing match in which he dropped some catches and made only 33 runs.

Here's Jamie Lillywhite to recap that horror show from England.

It's an ugly looking scorecard. The openers never got going and both Root and Pope sort of got in for a while and then they got out. The fielding has been sharp and England in the mire.

  20. Lunch - Eng 84-4published at 35 overs

Well England have made it to lunch at least. They've lasted a session this time.

Stokes leaves the final ball from Ashwin. Kohli is gasping, thinking it might be a wicket, but then comes around and applauds his players.

They've dominated the session again. India are closing in.
