Iain McCafferty: And down they go like a house of cards in a hurricane. Great effort by Buttler and Stokes, but the rest of the team (especially the top four) need to show rather more grit and backbone.

It was the wicket of Jos Buttler that started this late evening collapse. Here it is. Let's not forget how fine an innings this was though.

Huge cheers from the crowd as Rashid slaps away Bumrah. It's surely just delaying the inevitable. Kohli is laughing with Bumrah about that no ball.

Is that the twist in the game?!

Rashid gets away with it. Aleem Dar decided there it was a no ball because Bumrah's foot was not behind the line.

India still need two wickets to win.

The umpires are taking an age. They're looking at a second replay.

Rashid is on his way, caught at slip. But is it a no ball?! It's very, very tight.

Stokes batted four and a half hours for his 62. Six catches for KL Rahul and seven for Rishabh Pant, the first time in a Test match that a wicketkeeper has taken seven catches or more and a fielder has taken six or more.

Stuart Broad is out there now. He was in his training gear not long ago. India are buzzing around everywhere.

They've taken four wickets for 10 runs.

It's been a really good innings by Stokes but that was a really good ball and India's catching has been really good. You always felt if India got one it was going to be very hard for anyone coming out and it is not going to be long now I'm afraid.

    Stokes c Rahul b Pandya 62 (Eng 241-8)

It's all falling apart for England. Ben Stokes goes now. That's England's hopes of taking this until tomorrow done.

Stokes is gutted and has to drag himself from the field. It has been a battling innings from the all-rounder. It comes to an end after 187 balls.

    India are almost there.

Three wickets in his last eight balls for five for Bumrah.

Adil Rashid joins Ben Stokes in the middle. It's hard to criticise Woakes there. That was ferocious quick bowling.

That is a brutal delivery, it's the way it angles back and does him for pace. He got 137 at Lord's but got out twice to the short ball here. You've got to fancy that India will finish this tonight.

    Woakes c Pant b Bumrah 4 (Eng 241-7)

Brutal. An almost unplayable bouncer from Jasprit Bumrah. Chris Woakes must be having flashbacks to facing James Pattinson and Mitchell Starc last winter. Bumrah bowls one right at his face and he instinctively lifts his gloves while trying to get his head out of the way. It flicks the glove on the way through to Pant.

What a little spell this is from Bumrah. England are sinking fast.

Emma Herod: Why oh why send Bairstow in then? Promote Woakes and give Bairstow another night of rest for that broken finger. Silly decision.

It's crazy how much difference a wicket makes. Stokes hasn't played a loose shot for ages but gets a pull all wrong and almost plays on.

He has dig in for his team now. He takes a single on the final ball of the over. That means he'll take the next over too.
